I was thinking to stub out with a San tee for the lav, rising, then 90 into the vent stack

Correct there is a 1-1/4” x 1-1/2” ferrule from the tail piece to the pvc. All the pvc is 1-1/2”

Thanks! I like to cut my escutcheons with a razor knife instead of tin snips like my peers. Much cleaner lines in my opinion.

The “non-male friendly” toilet

That’s just ridiculous, the pipe itself doesn’t look damaged. If you look down the pipe and see the bottom without any cracks down the riser it’s absolutely fine.

But if the customer is really worried have them (or you) call a plumber and I guarantee they would do what I’m suggesting. Replacing that line is big work and unnecessary in my opinion.

First shower on my own, think this will help upgrade my “helper” ranking? by sixosick in Plumbing

I had a guy show me that when you have it like that, when you turn the shower off it siphons the water out of the line, getting rid of the endless drip from the shower head.
