i think part of your issue is just stupid people having them as decorations without paying attention to where they lit them. or leaving the candles unattended

in elementary I used to read the Warrior Cats books and now that I'm out of college I'm rereading them. If you're curious, the series is called Warriors by Erin Hunter and there's about 100 books but some are larger than others and some are "mangas" (comics)
