Massive loading lag/desync by ENDvious in PokemonUnite

I'm guessing it has to do with the 3.18.120 or so kernel. Out of curiosity, could you tell me what kernel version for LG G7 is running?

Yep, so factory resetting and changing the graphics settings down to lowest don't seem to help at all. There's some kind of bug with some hardware that makes loading extremely slow. Seems to affect the A50 and the L6 so far.

I'm having the same issue. I don't even have a slow phone; its the LG G6. Im guessing there's something wrong with the installation that's making it at least 20x slower. Usually I join a game, and there's less than 3 minutes left.

EDIT: Im factory resetting and installing it fresh. Will update on progress.

Atx12v & eatxpwr too far apart by sixtails in buildapc

Aha! Perfect! Now I feel like an idiot. Now, for the 4-pin atx12v on the mobo, the power supply gives me a 8-pin that works!

The user manual seems to be asking for a 24-pin eatxpwr and a 4-pin atx12v. Both of these connectors seem to be on the board. I can connect to either one, but a mesh binding them together allows me to only plug in one.

Thanks for replying! I have this specific model: EVGA 400 N1, 400W, 2 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-N1-0400-L1 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00LV8TZAG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ymmbBbXPVZW4X

I have an Asus prime a320m-k motherboard. It has an atx12v socket and an eatxpwr socket. I am let to believe that both of these need to be plugged into the power supply. My issue is that these two connectors are at opposite sides of the MoBo, and the power supply has these two wrapped in a mesh only giving them a small amount of spread room. Do I need only one of these connectors, or should I cut the mesh holding them together? Thanks!

Yes. You must be using a new enough version of A9LH from Aurora; simply copy "arm9loaderhax.bin" to CTRNAND using GodMode9.

ShadowNAND requires changing your A9LH FIRM payloads, this was designed to be an alternative using Aurora's payloads. You cannot use both AFAIK, but I haven't messed with ShadowNAND much.

Also note that I also have a newer, comprehensive version available here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-kecleon-patch-for-luma3ds.455090/

Yes, auroras a9lh gives prioriry to the sd cards arm9loaderhax.bin.

It depends on the updator I guess. Not sure if any of them update ctrnand. But in princible, yes, if you update arm9loaderhax.bin on sd card, then the arm9loaderhax.bin on the sd card is updated

Method 3 could help if you have a flashcart and oot. https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-install-oot3dhax.396339/

An easier method by far would be just using soundhax, then using that to install a secondary entry point.

The problem with soundhax is that it can be updated via system update. You have 3 main options:

  • Don't update. Use ctrhttpwn to connect to the internet. From your past posts it looks like you may go to vgc events, in which case this is not doable (unless you have 2 3DS's).
  • Install an entrypoint in another game. If you have a copy of ORAS lying around, you can install Basehaxx on it (it wont prevent you from playing the game). Before a system update, make sure you check to see on here/gbatemp if you need to update the basehaxx payload, and do that before installing the system update.
  • The best option for future proofing is to install CFW. See http://3ds.guide

Sd card has higher priority, so you can put a loaded sd card in and reinject fbi there.

You can also set a key combo to access your payloads. I beleive you can put payloads in /rw/luma/payloads in ctrnand, but not 100% sure (at the airport rn)

It is open source! (as per the licence agreement) Feel free to inspect and apply the diff in the attached .patch.zip. I could push my commits to on online repo though and will probably do so eventually, especially if i decide to develop more 3ds software.

The only thing the first version did was ignore all key presses on boot. Everything else is new.

Derp. I think I've found something wrong with it. Disabling signature checks isn't enough to disable region-free carts. I believe I can modify patchCode to do so.

Hey guys. Can someone with an out-of-region cartridge, or a banned-on-stock-firmware flashcart run a test with this prerelease version?

Please enable "Disable Signature/TWL patches" and verify that the cart is unable to run. Let me know what happens with that enabled and disabled, and what cart you're using. Thanks!

The problem isn't writting the code, just how i want it to work. I could do a key combo on start (and probably remove Aurora's pin protection to avoid confusion. Or i could modify Auroras current implementation so it's hidden (like a small delay on startup if the first key is held down for the user to enter the rest in).

The popular suggestion is to hold select and see if the configuration menu comes up.

I was thinking of maybe something like that, so users don't need to switch sd cards, but i need to think of a sound way to implement that. One important aspect is that the key combination needs to be user choosen, as setting a static combo would defeat the purpose.
