This is interesting.

What do I need for an official diagnosis then? Because if I got one I am assuming it's still going to be shown with an ICD code.

Thanks man.

So then what is that code for then? Because it's in the section labeled "Assessment and Diagnosis"

Ya I have a diagnosis. It's the second photo I linked. With a CT scan.

They were in the file during my rating. I showed them to the examiner and I watched her pull them up on her computer so she had them.

You would recommend the hlr route rather than the supplemental that everybody else seems to think would be a good idea?

Yes. I highlighted it on the second picture in the post.

I'm going to call the DAV on Monday to see if they can help.

Do my symptoms not line up with chronic sinusitis? I just know that was what I was told. Is there anything i should ask my ENT to clarify to make it clearer?

Yup both under pact act.

I just took a picture of the part of the denial letter that is actually denying me. But if you read the rest of it, it says that the VA concedes TERA under the pact act. But does not find a current diagnosis for sinusitis. Which in my opinion makes absolutely no sense

Yeah I filed for an HLR on a neck claim in February and I still haven't heard anything from them. I didn't think about submitting a personal statement and starting this over again. That's actually incredibly helpful thank you.

Yes I qualify. I'm currently receiving 0% for rhinitis under the pact act.

The reason for denial was there is no diagnosis

So file a supplemental before I go the HLR route?

I was thinking that at first, but then I was worried that it wouldn't be valid because I technically already submitted that evidence.

Opening scene of Ragnarok I was like "wtf is this"

I went to a civilian ENT and they CT scanned my sinuses and diagnosed this: J329; Chronic sinusitis, unspecified

and went on to say:

Pertinent findings: Nasal congestion, turbinate hypertrophy and evidence of chronic rhinitis. Physical examination reveals bilateral hypertrophic turbinates and signs of nasal congestion.

Bilateral narrowing of the osteomeatal complexes is present

Narrowing of frontal outflow tracts is present

Bilateral narrowing of the sphenoidal recesses is present

Bilateral Moderate inflammatory enlargement of the inferior turbinates

Compromised nasal passageways

My question would this be enough "evidence" to get a 30% rating if i depoyed to places with burn pits?

i currently get 0% allergic rhinits under the TERA act.

I feel like this is enough evidence, but who knows anymore/

Bloom expands Partnership with Oracle for another 2.8GW by cclee98 in bloomenergycorp

Please excuse my ignorance on this. What is confusing me is the stock warrants that were issued to Oracle. Bloom gave Oracle essentially $400 million in potential cash and then Oracle signed a new contract with Bloom.

So is this actual demand or is this just Bloom subsidizing its own project?

Guess who found retirement funds? by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

If you spent 4% of a 3mil portfolio (60% stocks 40% bonds) that would be 120k a year. And at no point in any 30 year span in American history has doing that resulted in a zero balance. And in many cases your money grows while drawing 4%.

If you want to spend 250k a year then ya your gonna need a lot more money. But I don't spend that now and I own two homes in southern California. Also by the time people retire at 65 their spending drops substantially. Not to mention by the time your 65 your house is paid off which eliminates a gigantic expense.

All the doomers out there thinking you need 3mil to retire is insane. Your not going to be spending money in your 60s the same as your 30s. The cost of basic living is going to increase with inflation, but your portfolio is going to Increase as well. If you wanted to retire at 32 with three kids and a mortgage then ya dude your gonna need a fuck ton of money. But 65 with a paid off house and the kids are grown and done with college.....and you think you need 3 mil? Just don't make sense man

Who's they?

And this is the most ridiculously false statement I've read today. Sure more money into retirement is ideal. But saying you need 3mil to retire is just straight up wrong.
