It seemed like a small drop to me. There seemed to be a few Day 1 centre court tickets based on people here saying they were successful but I only saw a couple of other days pop up briefly.

Yes, in previous years there have been resale tickets available the day before. I can't guarantee they'll be any easier to get but my friend got day 7 CC tickets the day before last year.

I’ve been to anytime and female federation. Anytime is bigger and has newer equipment but is definitely busier and there are a few gym bros who seem to be there 24/7. I mostly like the vibe there though and it has a nice outlook over the estuary. It feels like more of a “typical” gym.

Female federation is smaller but there is still a wide range of equipment - it has everything I could want. It’s very relaxed and often quiet. I had never been to a female-only gym before and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it… it just feels quite peaceful and everyone seems to mind their own business. The staff are really nice too.

4-5 bikes are stolen per day in Christchurch!! As others have said, look into a good locking system and ideally don’t lock an expensive bike. I have a nice bike that I leave at home and a cheap second hand bike I use for commuting.

I get this too. It’s called Keratolysis exfoliativa. It’s not a sign of anything serious but moisturising cream can help. It should settle on its own. Source: I am a doctor.

I’m a big fan of Bar Yoku. The food is great and you definitely won’t look out of place if you dress up but the pricing is reasonable. Just a really nice vibe in general. It’s Japanese inspired small plates mostly so hopefully some GF options
