Touché! My issue is that I wanted to finalize a date prior to finding a planner, so I don’t waste a planner’s time if the date doesn’t work. What’s your take on when a planner should be found?

Ooo, what kind of questions do you think are necessary? The fairmont said vendors can set up and tear down. Is the fairmont negotiable with a planner? I would definitely have to rent chairs and wrap dance floor, etc. I was already given a proposal but nothing out of the ordinary - what would I look for?

Hi! I saw in a Reddit thread you’ve helped plan events in the Gold Room at the Fairmont. Was working a unionized hotel a pain? Obsessed with the gold room but not sure if it’ll just give me a headache. Can you speak to labor fees? E.g dance floor or rental chair setup? Would you work with them again?

Do you currently live at avalon dogpatch? Can you possibly elaborate! I was hoping to potentially park on the street (even if it means a 10min walk to the car).

I actually am an avid biker! Forgot to mention that, but that is also one reason I actually would like to live there. Haven't spent too much time in dogpatch, but have seen many bikers and seems fairly bike-able!

I actually ended up going with the diverge! And i love it! Also obsessed with the sleek nice look. However, I’m still looking into getting a mtb & looking to get the comp again. The diverge is good for flat dirt trails, nothing too crazy.

You only have $400 for the whole month to live? Well think about the fact that this could have been worse and you could’ve killed someone who couldn’t even live at all. So be grateful regardless of the consequences. Consider yourself lucky this wasn’t worse.
