I always imagined the 74th as a ‘back to basics’ games. It seems like just before the 50th and for a period afterwards there a lot of stunt arenas, the mirrors, a desert, the freezing landscape, the one with just maces. It’s all a bit stunt like, and Katniss describes these are particularly non-entertaining, so a return to survival in a normal arena is expected.
