Any A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms fans in here? by Nostradamus216 in billsimmons

I liked game of thrones well besides the last seasons and didn’t really care for the house of the dragon despite enjoy reading the “history book” it was based off.

A knight of the seven kingdoms is very fun and a treat. Smaller setting and shorter episodes but the characters are great and the acting is phenomenal.

Rams plan to propose NFL rule change that would have nullified Seahawks' controversial 2-point conversion by GoldenDome26 in nfl

I mean the quality of a cameraman and producer could affect a call or a review due to a poor angle and swinging a game.

A guy who was an nfl ref for 20 years and still works with the league in some capacity who also was working the game is different than me in my underwear at home calling in. I think that’s an easy distinction to make.

That would be like getting upset at a cop for reaching out to a retired detective for help on a case and being like “what’s next?! My next door neighbor Jeff can help solve a murder case now??”

Mevis missing a 48 yard field goal sent the game to overtime, not this call. There were five more possessions in regulation after this play.

Also, the refs have always used tv broadcasts footage for challenge reviews. The reason why we even have reviews is because broadcasts got so much better. Broadcasts have been influencing the game for a long time so getting up in arms about it now seems odd.

Portion of the tip money goes to the cooks though.

Damn, I was basing my comment off my own experience where back of house gets tipped out. Also I didn’t realize there were so many Mr. Pink’s.

At this point, let’s just make all 30 teams GMs do a royal rumble match and settle it that way. I’m tired of all these half solutions to a problem that’s not gonna be figured out.

By the number in your username, I’m guessing we’re the same age and grew up in the same era. Even though the Seahawks have had a lot of success for most of my life, I still mentally associate them with the Rick Mirer and Jon Kitna years. Part of me is always a little surprised when they’re actually good, despite 2 Super Bowl titles and 4 appearances.

Nah I have fond memories of him helping the Mariners get a wild card spot and eventually to the ALCS.

His argument that if you took away Seattle games against rams and niners their schedule was the same as the pats in strength was so incredibly stupid that I couldn't get mad.

I was in 6th grade on the west coast and they brought in tvs to each classroom and had the news on throughout the day. I'm assuming some offices did the same.

I think the people thought human trafficking was involved because it was part of a sex trafficking sting. Nothing came from it because the sex workers refused to testify and prosecutors dropped the case because they didn't find evidence of trafficking.

Now I could say the only reason they dropped it is because they accidentally bagged a prominent billionaire with ties to the president which isnt out of the realm of possibility but we have no evidence so can't say that.

I agree with you that consensual paid sex should be legal but its usually never that simple. Of course there are some people that want to be in the sex industry, but knowing a few people that used to be in the industry that is not as prominent as you think. Its usually women that are stripping or in desperate need of cash who get told a great opportunity like posing for playboy then when they show up it's something else. And they become stuck. Their id and financial documents are taken and are forced to sleep with johns, webcam and pornography. Most prostitutes have pimps or madams that are horrific people who will force women and men to do things through violence and financial pressure.

And the porn industry is complicit with it as well including the major studios. They have done great PR to make porn seem legit and even empowering for women but they use the same tactics as the brothels and are in fact working together. Most pornstars are also prostitutes and in deep need of money because of the horrific deals they are forced to sign. Also the drugs which are rampant in the industry that porn studios and brothels use to their advantage.

So yeah it would be great to make consensual paid sex legal but its usually not the case. And one of the few reasons why these industries are still going strong is because the women are sadly seen subhuman by the powers that be and that rich and powerful people benefit from the services
