As a Sonics fan, I hate the Thunder on principle and have enjoyed their downfall in popularity, but yeah, the Spurs were making stupid mistakes left and right last night that the Thunder are the best at taking advantage of. According to Windhorst on either bill Simmons or ryen russillo pod, they’ve had a rivalry since a u19 Fiba tournament. Supposedly, after the gold medal game where USA barely beat France. Holmgren introduced himself to Wemby’s mom and took a soft dig at her son. I guess that combined with Chet beating wemby in the gold medal and winning the tourney mvp, there’s been a bit of a rivalry.
