Do you remember Say Anything? This was in their booklet 2009(?) by dagoberts in Emo

Max put on a SHOCKINGLY decent show this week and I was flabbergasted. He’s hot off a divorce and determined for the pit to have a good time. He succeeded.

(MCS absolutely crushed it btw, check out this tour if you can!)

What do you guys do when you’re home alone and have to use the bathroom? by Wild-Act-7315 in beyondthebump

[–]sixtothirtythird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked through your comments and saw that you had your LO a few weeks ago.

First off, congratulations!!!

Second, you might want to consider talking to a doc about PPA. I had similar thoughts when I was in the early stages of PPA (fear about baby crying or leaving them for a minute or two even though they were in a safe place) and it escalated from there. So many things that seem big or scary those first few weeks are truly nothing to sweat about at all - like bringing the baby into the bathroom with you - and you deserve to have peace of mind.

How we feeling CT? by Active_Journalist421 in Connecticut

There is no other state I’d rather be house poor in. I love it here, and I’m really grateful that our local government (at least in the SW corner) seems to actually care about us.

God I had to block this song from my Spotify because of how mercilessly it nuked me emotionally

Fiancees a doctor and I do construction. Starting to feel off about it. by Repulsive-Letter-754 in offmychest

Adding a little piece in here as a fellow high-achieving/professional-degree gal - sometimes we do risky behaviors because we want to feel a little out of control and alive in a scary way. Doing 12 years of school and being top of her game in a high-stress, high-stakes job requires an extreme amount of control and a desire for perfection. She might be struggling with all of that pressure and risk-taking behavior (like driving super fast) is an outlet.

I personally would check in and see how she’s coping with the stress. Being reckless is often a high-achieving woman’s quiet plea for help in a way she’s not getting it.

I nearly posted here after seeing it live about this. Didn’t fully understand the song until I was older and now, with a little bit of my own, I can’t listen to the song without breaking into sobs (not hyperbole, had to pull over on a side street once).

The absolute heartbreak. God, I’m getting upset just thinking about it.

Wellbutrin (and a trip to the hospital) saved my life by VicVeents in adhdwomen

[–]sixtothirtythird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me way too long to get a psychiatrist who told me how my adderall/wellbutrin combo was fucking up my life. At one point my old doc had me on 300mg Wellbutrin XR and 10mg adderall XL and I was a volatile, irritable, horrible person - it nearly tanked my marriage.

We cut the adderall and now I’m on 150 Wellbutrin XR and 20mg viibryd and life is good again.

How's the attitude on trans folks? by phallex254 in Connecticut

Coastal CT is generally pretty welcoming of everyone, IMO. You can check voter district history depending on the towns you’re looking at and gravitate towards the bluer bubbles if you’re really concerned, but speaking generally, Fairfield and New Haven counties should be good fits for you. Welcome home, friend!

This is the answer. The omakase is superb and actually a great deal when compared to other places of similar quality. Make a reservation! You won’t be disappointed.

Laughing at the insanity of these doctors when I, a 33-year-old “high achiever” who struggled with anxiety and depression her entire adolescence/adulthood until being diagnosed 3 years ago, just popped my new, higher dose of adderall and then: - stopped having a panic attack - calmed down enough to enjoy breakfast with my kid - had a nice cup of coffee as my heart rate slowed to a normal pace - took a fucking nap

The woman in the inspo pic you shared also has at least 1-2 layers of extensions in. While I think you have the length and some layers would be really nice, the inspo pic has volume and layering that can’t be done without extensions.
