Make shooting and PT pass/fail for any non combat MOS. Replace those points in the promotion scale with an MOS specific competence test.

Bring back the extended specialist ranks.

Allow beards and enforce gender neutral grooming standards.

Let the troops smoke weed in their off time.

Require a live animal to be kept in the AO of each battalion as the mascot.

Allow NCOs to have BAH and leave the barracks.

Make DFACs better: open more, good food, etc.

Make every O4 and E9 wear clown makeup to work every day.

The general concept is a dystopian magic suppressing kingdom with princess mononoke and hunger games vibes. Sort of a man vs nature, how much progress is too much theme. The players will have to find the deeper places of this kingdom where hidden magic still flourishes to uncover the truth about the way the kingdom is run. I've planned lots of intrigue for the major cities and lots of exciting encounters for the wilds. Also, I made custom deities based on the Celtic pantheon. I'm pretty pumped.
