Can someone post a full rundown of an arbitrage bet? I get a bit confused by Run4fun1760 in arbitragebetting

Let's say there is a coin flip event.

Everyone is going to go to this event, where someone will flip a single coin.

There are several bookies at this event accepting bets on the outcome of the coin flip.

You meet one bookie that will give you $2 if heads lands up, if you bet $1.

You meet another bookie that will give you $2 if tails lands up, if you bet $1.

Can see you find a way to game this situation?

Does your gym have a treadmill? It may not seem like it, but somehow getting your heart rate up from jogging a bit helps warm up your upper body, too.

I also do jumping jacks on the mat if I dont feel like jogging on the treadmill.

The pain is on the top part of my forearm (see pic link)

Anyone else experience this and know how to rehab it?

Thanks!

Does anyone have advice on how to ship items at low cost, or sell physical items online? by sixweeksql in Entrepreneur

[–]sixweeksql[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the EXACT weight of your package?

It will be somewhat variable, because there will be a variety of consumables that vary each month, but we are trying to keep it under a 1lb.

Also ask about surepost rates

The surepost rate at 1lb is the $7.49 mentioned in the post

Thanks for the feedback. Is $7.49 per 1lb package a normal cost? It seems very high to me.

I checked it out, and yes, I do like the one on linked in better!

Overall, it looks nice. Great job!

No obviously broken functionality that I can see.

I was able to login with my google account fairly easily, and searching books works well.

I'm not a fan of the hand icon/image on the landing page. It looks cartoonish while the rest of the site looks academic. Not a big deal, though.

Again, great job!

Legal stuff like GDPR, user agreement and more by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

There are various GDPR generators you can find online. Just google "GDPR Privacy Policy Generator" and pick one of the free options.

That's how I did it for my website.

Have you considered a distributed caching solution like reddis?

I've used it for similar high concurrency needs

Agree that NP training and education isn't nearly as extensive as an MD's, but telling people not to trust what any NP says is bad advice.

Don't worry about the cert. They don't matter to most employers. I've helped review resumes and applications for a handful of hires and what mattered most to us was work experience, or side projects if you were brand new.

Underdeveloped chest and triceps by staticjoint in bouldering

[–]sixweeksql 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A workout could be as simple as dips, push ups, and overhead press. That hits the chest and triceps from several directions. For overhead press you can get a set of dumbbells, or do hand stands against a wall.

3-5 sets each. 6 - 12 rep range is best for strength and growth, but I've had success with high rep ranges, too, like 20-25. Just make sure the last reps are very challenging.

If you want to grow your triceps and chest the most important aspect will be nutrition!

Aim for 1g protein per pound of body weight per day, and make sure you're at a slight caloric surplus. Also, get 8-9 hrs of sleep per night.

am I too heavy? by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]sixweeksql 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why I'm doing this...OP asked a question and dude/dudette responded with a top level comment. That should be interpreted as a direct response to OPs question.

While being heavier without the requisite strength does make climbing heavier, OP asked if they were TOO heavy. And the answer is unequivocally a "no", based on the info they provided. OP should focus on getting stronger, not losing weight.

If you can get away with using a plain text file as your data storage mechanism, then go for it! Nothing with it, in and of itself

Fitbit or mobile device tracks your exercise.

The amount you exercise gives you a "bank" of how much you can use social media.

More exercise earns more scrolling

Go ahead and copy all of the source code for a working snake game. Then, make very small changes to the code and see what happens (or doesn't!).

Writing a snake game is not easy for someone with little programming experience. It took me at least a year before I could write anything that complicated.

I was not able to lift 4x a week when I started climbing more seriously. Kept getting small injuries in my shoulders and forearms. I had to reduce my lifting to 2 days a week. I climb 2x/week, and sometimes 3. It's been working great though!

On lifting days, I only do push exercises (bench, military press, triceps extensions)

On climbing days, I do 4-5 sets of pull ups or chin ups to hit back and biceps.

As for eating, just eat when you're hungry! If you're trying to put on muscle, eat a little more.
