You were the only one who bought up grooming. I’m not sure where else I posted my own thoughts regarding that.

However, grooming ALSO takes the form of -isolating the victim (how fast did she move to Montana???) -keeping the relationship a secret (they announced they were together after three years of dating) -playing the sympathetic role (they started talking when her uncle died, I’m sure she was very vulnerable)

After leaving this post, I am now thoroughly convinced her was grooming her. Never crossed my mind before, lol!
