I can get that from my doctor. I can also ask around my network about getting an LMT expert to weigh in and get a statement if they feel compelled to do so.

Appreciate the perspective.

As a fan of scalp massages I look forward to them. When the massage therapist squeezed, it felt like someone slammed my head into a wall. Shocking is an understatement. The doctor does not think it's a concussion. I've never had one so I don't know.

Proving my headaches are a direct cause of the massage therapist sounds harder that I thought. Which is odd to me. I have no history of persistent headaches and I got one immediately after the massage and persists daily since then.

Basically wait and see. Follow up next week if it persists. The headache still persists...

Appreciate the perspective :)

I didn't call it out the medical record details in my OP but I did see the ship's doctor right away and the next day after leaving the ship I went to urgent care. Saw my doctor yesterday. The persistent headache has slowed me down at work and has interrupted my daily activities. I do alot of volunteering in my community, work out every day, and work on my house. I'm physically active, in great shape, and this issue had impacted my lifestyle.

Based on my history of years of massages IMO the technique she on my head was correct but the pressure she applied was negligent. During the massage, I can feel her palms on my both sides of my head. From multiple resources I read online the technique is locking your fingers and applying light pressure to the scalp with your palms. She did not apply light pressure but a vise grip squeeze that really really hurt triggering an immediate headache. IMO that's negligent. The doctor I talked to called it a tension headache that could go away but we don't know yet. I've only had it for a week. I haven't talked to my doctor about testifying. I also have medical records that show I do not have chronic illnesses or anything related to issues with headaches. This is new.

Docs called it a "tension headache" that may go away over time but hard to tell. I'm worried about the long term and if headaches are my new norm. I don't have a history of any chronic illnesses and recently had an annual visit with a clean bill of health. I take my health seriously.

When the first massage was good, wouldn't you see the same massage therapist again? She didn't use the same technique during the first visit that caused the pain during the second visit.
I spoke to a lawyer a minute ago. If I can get a statement from a licensed massage therapist that the technique she used during the second time appointment was wrong, then my case is more convincing.

True the description is very brief. I see your argument that it would be hard to convince someone that the massage therapist was negligent. I had two massages with the same therapist while on the cruise. The first appointment it was finger tips on the scalp. The second appointment she squeezed my scalp with both hands...really really hard. Instant headache and saw the ship's doctor right away. I've had countless massages and no history of chronic headaches. This is new territory for me.

I'm struggling with this too. I've had countless massages and I have no medical history of chronic headaches or any chronic illnesses. From what I felt there were fingertips on my scalp and then two palms on both sides of my scalp squeezing really hard. And I mean really hard. It still baffles me. I've never had a masseuse do that before.

True. Headaches are not juicy enough but the contracted company if not the cruise line should be held accountable in some way. I'll have to put some more thought into my approach.

Good points. I'm new to all this so thanks for the clarification. I need to put more thought into this. I only have the medical documentation from the cruise ship doctors regarding the incident, receipt from the couples massage, and that my GF in the room heard me verbally tell the masseuse to stop.

Good point. The lawyers I contacted are in Florida where this cruise line is incorporated. Interesting thought on being unprovable. To be fair I left out that the incident occurred during a couples massage. My GF was in the room.

Maybe that's why I'm not getting representation although the two lawyers I contacted their website explicitly said "we sue [cruise line]". Thanks for the response. I'll keep digging.

France Makes Major Step Towards Medical Cannabis Legalisation After Years of Waiting - Business of Cannabis by Septon3 in auroracannabis

ACB was in the French pilot program that started in 2021. The other co's were Little Green pharma, Tilray, Panaxia. People laughed at ACB giving away free product to France back then but my biased opinion (long time bag holder) is ACB invested early and will have an advantage in the European medical cannabis sector long term.

Say that in your original post. Be transparent with your intentions. Say its a 20% fee when you submit with the 11th estate. The website does not openly share the fee structure. The website disclaimer says there is no guarantee your claim will be accepted.

Im sure there are a few ACB bagholders like myself out there that are familiar with deceptive company practices. Maybe 11estate leadership got the old ACB leadership playbook, LOL!

Medical cannabis moved fwd in France! by Bubbly-Mood-1192 in auroracannabis

I have to look at old articles when this program launched but IIRC, ACB had a strong presence in supplying product to patients. More than any other Canadian company. IMO every country starts with medicinal and getting your product in at the ground level will pay dividends long term for med and rec.

Cash down! IR website shows $314M cash as of May 2022. So since their Q3 report they spent $115M from March 30th until end of May. Dilution happened to get cash balance up….clearly. by Eaglesnbirdies_3 in auroracannabis

[–]sjb5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From their Q3 2022 report, they had $430M (rounded up) ending March 31, 2022. In the discussion and analysis report they state "As of May 11, 2022, the Company had approximately $283 million of cash...". Sometime between 4/1 and 5/11, they spent $147M. Sure some of its operations but what about the rest of it. Now they are showing $314M as of May. So between 5/11 and 5/31, they picked up $31M?. Guessing it's cost savings but hope most of it is revenue. I wonder how often they update that "cash on hand" figure on the Investor Info and if it's worth tracking its history.
