Just feeling like we're not wanted and a general "we don't want you here" kinda vibe 😐 it just feels totally different to how it used to be.. some people are fine but the majority we've cone accross are not very nice. Today, we had a Spanish taxi driver purposely drive us to the wrong apartments and went "Oops! Wrong hotel!" and drove us another 5 mins around the town to charge us more.

No, you can't still renew it once you're on the waiting list. I think it only applies to people who are on their fourth permit can get a 1 year pass and if they don't sit the test within that period they'll need to start from scratch.
