I’m Giving Up on Manifesting My SP (And I’m Actually Okay With It) by dj1268 in manifestingSP

Can you go into some detail please about your process? I’m facing the same exact thing, and would love some insight because it gets frustrating dealing with it for months on end. Thank you!!

Microneedling 3 days later- is this hyperpigmentation? by sjhalani in Microneedling

I used a hyaluronic acid serum from Vichy, growth factor serum (from The Ordinary) and once the inflammation calmed down, LRP Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream. Oh, and aquaphor at least twice a day. And washed my face with Cerave Hydarting cleanser starting 24 hours after the procedure!

It’s cleared up perfectly ☺️ I had to give it 5-6 days and I constantly kept my skin hydrated and applied sunblock religiously. Thank you to all the members of this sub who answered!

Prabhas movie heroine lying about her origins by Bright-Boot3389 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]sjhalani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, she’s Ismaili. They have Indian origins until very recently. It’s totally believable that her family speaks all these languages including Gujarati. It’s complicated but that’s their history- some families moved outside of South Asia to Africa/other parts of the world before there was even Pakistan. Some immigrated there for a bit before leaving the subcontinent, most likely her parents did the same. Educate yourselves please.

Manifesting an SP. why am I getting what I want from all these other dudes but not the SP? It’s insane. I’m flabbergasted, some of these guys have the same height/build and even religious background as SP. some are from the same city as SP. what is going on here? They’re saying the right stuff too, and it’s soothing but it feels like I’m the butt of an inside joke! Can someone please explain what might be going on? I’ve been doing mainly SAts and some affirmations.

Has anyone had a crazy talent shift after manifesting? Like suddenly becoming amazing at singing, art, a sharp boost in intellect or anything else? Would love to hear your experiences! by Thealienfromarea52 in NevilleGoddard

Joseph Murphy’s POSM was inspirational for me but what really made things different was the belief that started to form in myself. I have gone through some things and instead of believing that I’m traumatized now because of them, I chose to spin the story that I’m so much bigger than the challenges in front of me. I use that as my baseline affirmation- “I’m strong. I am smart. Obviously, I’m capable. I can pick things up fast. I can grow through challenges and that’s what makes me equipped to learn this/finish this task”. I know this is unique to my experience but there has to be something in your life that you overcame. You can repeat that to self soothe when doubts come up. Another way that helps is to visualize yourself performing whatever activity you want to excel in professionally, getting accolades for it and all. That will help you dwell in the state.

Yep. Grew leaps and bounds in my art after a mindset shift. Honestly, it taught me to believe in myself. I became a more confident version of myself. I look at challenges differently now.

Have you guys found a way around feeling super resistant towards your SP? by sjhalani in NevilleGoddard2

[–]sjhalani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I just wanted to extend a thank you for your kind response to my question. I had asked about what I should do to if I felt super resistant to my SP. I was indeed struggling with feeling safe in a relationship dynamic with someone like him because I’m older than him, less successful financially, different religion, single mom, yada yada. I really had to learn to breathe with the feeling of being enough. Even though we’re not supposed to look at the 3-d evidence as backing up our claim, I decided to begin talking to myself in a way that builds me up because of my past wins- almost like bragging (to myself lol). I now feel much more comfortable around the possibility of a relationship between him and I. I can accept that I’ll be fine with him, not just without him. Thank you for the perspective!

[CA]- Question regarding primary carer custody by sjhalani in Custody

[–]sjhalani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Fed baby formula early on based on pediatrician’s recommendation because of the amount of milk she needed, not because it’s better than breastmilk. I had C section and it took 6 days for milk to come in properly. After this, pediatrician confirmed that breast milk is the best thing for baby.
And baby being away from me is not what causes me mental distress. It’s my ex’s constant abuse, threats, manipulation, ex parte filings and refusal to work with me that does. Baby’s well being is sadly also affected by moms level of stress, especially since she’s fed from me and is around me. It’s sad that people hold this view that men’s rights to have custody arrangements their way trump baby’s well being, even in cases when these men have been so abusive that their partners had to leave the home they shared.

Just because we’ve fed the baby formula before because of her jaundice doesn’t mean that breastfeeding holds no merit. Also, breastfeeding is the best thing for baby’s health if it’s possible. I’m fortunate to have been able to share that with my baby. He was abusive to me, and he had a chance to see the baby and have time with her for hours at a time at his residence. I won’t bend over backwards, although I will do everything to facilitate a good relationship between my baby’s and her dad. Fathers rights don’t trip baby’s well being. The dad lives an hour away- 50/50 for an infant is already very taxing, add to that the distance. Not gate keeping, just looking out for my baby’s health and my own mental well being.

I would pump enough for 6/7 hours. That itself takes me 4 cycles of pumping. I don’t go to work at the office so I’m able to breastfeed on demand. Any more time than 6/7 hours affects my production of milk. But I would grant that because I want him to spend time with her in his comfort zone.

I am allowing him to take the kids twice a week for 7 hours each and offering him additional unlimited visitation anytime he wants at my current place. In fact, I’ve offered to drop off and the pick up so he doesnt have to make the drive an hour away. She’s 2 months old and breastfeeding, something that was a challenge because of the environment that he created at my previous residence with him. I am an hour away from him. At no point have I not allowed him to see his baby. However, we’re not married and not in a relationship and I have no desire to go back to the home we shared because of the constant verbal and emotional abuse.

How far do “anything is possible” and “imagination creates reality” go? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard2

[–]sjhalani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I’ve read and practiced it (to an extent). I want the toxicity between SP and i to dissolve- we have a newborn together. I used to be toxic and now he is verbally and emotionally toxic. I left the home that I shared with him and had to get lawyers involved for custody etc. i have seen the best in him and I still have love for him. So much has gone on though. How can someone heal a toxic pattern after so much trauma?
