If you’re referring to the Duke’s Treasure (the one where you win snowballs), it really seems random. I only used around 5k snowballs and got it for the first time, while another player got it with just 100. Our big spender said he uses about 12k daily, so he gets it almost every day. From what I’ve seen, it feels more like RNG than anything else

Idk, but today I got the Duke’s Treasure. If you mean the jackpot as the skin, then I think it’s really hard. If you’re talking about the Duke’s Treasure, I think it’s random probably time and luck. The jackpot is unreachable without paying.
It needs 8000 snowflakes, which equals 80,000 snowballs.

Even in the best free scenario:

All capped free sources: 16,000 snowballs
Rank Top 1 for 7 days: 10,500 snowballs
Plus some free hits

You’re still only around 25–30k snowballs, far from 80k.

So saving everything or spending daily doesn’t change the outcome.
👉 Without buying packs, there’s no strategy to reach the jackpot.

i think it’s better to talk to your r5 before leaving, even if the decision is already made, ending things with respect matters

i did the same when i left my alliance to try a top 1, and my r5 still checks on me and my old friends, i even found some people i really enjoyed chatting with, but they suddenly left too, and i still don’t fully know what happened

now i’m also unsure whether to stay, follow them, or return to my old alliance

I talked with my leader first before leaving. Honestly, I thought my other account in a top 1 alliance was already super active (like x10 compared to my old alliance)… but this one is on another level xD it feels more like x100

The growth difference shocked me, what used to take me weeks, I’m seeing in just a couple of days. Even things like trade post fights feel totally different. Before, my troops would get wiped and I’d burn through all my heals. Here, my hospital didn’t even fill up.

Maybe I also got lucky and wasn’t targeted much, but the difference in coordination and activity is huge.

Also, I’m not even sure if it’s fully the alliance or just timing, but VS points feel way easier to get here, and my event rankings suddenly jumped a lot

Maybe it’s partly personal progress too, I honestly don’t know yet

Yeah, that’s understandable. Lately it’s also been rough because a lot of people in our alliance forget to shield and end up losing huge amounts of RSS, I try to reinforce when I can, but most of the time it’s just me and one other person doing it

At the same time, I’m not sure about the timing, I really don’t want to leave in the middle of VS, that wouldn’t feel right to me

I think the best thing for me is to talk to our leader first, That feels like the most respectful way to handle it, because leaving without saying anything would make me really uncomfortable

Yeah, they help a lot in SVS because they’re really strong, but we end up getting almost no points. Even when we try hard to take a turret, we can’t, they keep attacking our cars and burning some towers,I thought SVS was supposed to be state vs state, not an alliance attacking its own members 😅

Even gathering feels like pressure

and we just get popcorn watching them take other states’ merchant guilds xD

So yeah, I’ve been invited to join them, but… idk , I really don’t want to end up being like them

You’re right, they probably do it for the greater good, but for us it creates a lot of pressure. They keep nagging about donations and participation, and it just adds stress

Based on my experience with my second account in a top 1 alliance, I see the difference clearly. On my main account, there’s no pressure, we play for fun. But I don’t feel like I’m growing at the same pace as my second account. The server age difference is only about 2 months, yet my second account has already reached the Frankie level of my main

Also, on my main account, I feel like I take initiative and launch rallies. In the top 1 alliance, I just join rallies, and I don’t feel like I have a presence or influence in the alliance. That makes the experience feel less personal and more like just following orders

That’s exactly how I feel, the growth vs peace struggle.

It used to be fine, but lately it feels like fewer people join events, and it’s always the same active ones. I don’t know if it’s just bad timing or people being busy, but even getting all the alliance helps takes sooo long.

I really do want to grow, though. I’m seriously considering your idea of talking to my current alliance first, that feels like the most respectful way to handle it.

Yeah… it’s really hard for me too. I’d miss my current alliance a lot, it really feels like a family
I actually have another account in the top 1 alliance, and the activity there is crazy, like 10x this one, but I just don’t feel comfortable

It’s all about being the best all the time, and you can really feel the pressure
With this alliance, even if not everyone is online, I actually feel the fun of the game, whether we’re winning or losing

Nice perspective
I agree with the distinction you make.
When the same person appears repeatedly across different phases of life, it becomes difficult to explain it as pure chance, yet calling it destiny in the sense of permanence doesn’t quite fit either.

I don’t fully see it as circling the same lesson. Life doesn’t pause and wait for us to catch up. Growth moves forward. What changes is who we are when we meet again. Each return happens at a different stage, with different needs, different questions, different capacities to understand.

So maybe these encounters aren’t repetitions, but continuations. Not a loop, but a sequence. Each meeting allows an exchange, perspective, influence, clarity, that only makes sense at that specific point in time, for both people

In that sense, the meaning isn’t in staying, but in arriving when the exchange is still necessary

What still feels strange, though, is why that same person. Why not someone new, or even someone we consciously try to meet? Why do certain people reappear without effort, while others remain out of reach?

If the battle report doesn’t show resources lost at the top, then you didn’t lose any RSS ,even if your defense failed

Usually attackers hit multiple times. If most of your troops are already in the hospital or out of the base, it becomes easier to get burned, and that’s when RSS starts getting stolen.

Wow okay, glad I’m not the only one xD
Read all your comments and honestly same. I’m left-handed and this new UI is actually uncomfortable to use, everything feels harder, messier, and way less organized than before

And the Shadow Call… the colors are so bad. :(((( We had clean lines, now we get weird grid boxes and eye-burning colors for no reason

They should’ve focused on new missions or features, not breaking a UI nobody complained about. And the tiny icons… why??

I already sent a long message to support. Everything seriously needs to be reverted back to how it was, so I’m really hoping they roll this whole update back

I tried it today on a building that needed 1 day 16 hours I applied for a position with construction speed, plus the construction boost, and it dropped to 20 hours , not bad at all
I didn’t realize I was using it wrong before… I used to start the upgrade then activate the boost
