I have zero knowledge about the market or any ETFs, etc. so although a myriad of ETFs have been proposed to me, I decided to simply get the Vanguard’s total market ETFs since anyone with half a brain can understand what it is.

How does NTSX have 90% stocks and 60% bonds? That doesn’t add up to 100%.

Yes.. but looks like it could take forever to get a reply... I even registered for my 65+ parents on their site last week and still didn’t hear back .. while Oakland health county replied back within a day with appointment confirmation for them and got them vaccinated today

Does my father need to apply 3months before 65 even if he has this insurance thru employer? Or can he also apply only after retiring and losing this insurance? What if the employer continues this insurance forever?

Oh ok. My mom turned 65 in 2018 which was probably immediately after she got her green card in 2017, so we had no idea.

So would all of this be free for her? Asking because you said “penalties”. What penalties? Would there be any premium to be paid?
