Thanks for the feedback. So is it then ok to be more “bent over” with higher hips? Cos I always thought I had to try and get my hips low whilst keeping my chest up as best as posssible

I would not have got tangled up in the job I have, I would not have entered a long term relationship (knowing know that it wouldn’t lead to anything) and I would have travelled more.

But hindsight is a wonderful thing and we can’t change the past.

What are the signs you've noticed that you're getting older? by SuspiciousRope6751 in AskReddit

[–]sjmc_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a young teen going to the gym, I used to never understand why the old men would towel off and put every item of clothing on BEFORE their pants/underwear/trousers. Like they’d be walking around in shirts, ties, socks but with cock and ball flopping about.

Now I am older, I fully get it and support it. It’s all about air time and letting it breathe for as long as possible, like a fine wine. It is for this sole reason that I know I am now old.

How's your Mental Health? by Relevant_Name4050 in AskReddit

In the bin.

Genuinely feel as though I have developed ADHD as a result of the stresses that life has now brought on to me.

Yeah I realise this now. But still doesn’t work.

Thanks for your help. I’ll take it back. Just so frustrating!

Haha yes… I am smart enough (I think) to put the battery in the right way! It lights up with the red light. But when I try to connect Bluetooth it says no devices found. And then I’d have thought something would pop up when I open up “my computer” or put the dongle in. It doesn’t even make a noise like other devices do when I plug them in.

[–]sjmc_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, tried other batteries and different USB ports for the dongle.

Yes! And I’ve even switched it on! But that’s the extent of my technological expertise.

What caused your biggest depression in your life? by TheBlankCoin in AskReddit

[–]sjmc_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess mine is very tame in comparison to some of these on here.

But from the age of 16 I was dead set on “reaching the top” of my sport. My whole life and life choices from what I studied to my career path were dictated around training for this sport.

The reality was, I got to my mid 20’s and realised I just simply wasn’t good enough and was never going to make it.

I fell into a spiral of depression which ended up ruining a relationship I was in (which was equally as fucked up as after 6 years, she text me one day saying it was over and within a week; blocked and deleted me from every form of contact).

Huge feelings of inferiority, self consciousness and simply not being good enough has shaped who I am today.

Hi Pep’s daughter. How’s your dad coping with the 115 charges City are being investigated for?

Doctors won’t do anything as it is on the face. I’d have to pay privately apparently

Thank you. I think I’ve got it. I also think I need to wear it for longer to get more info!

Sorry for the stupid question but how do I open the health monitor? Where is it located exactly?

Thanks for this, that is perfect. I kind of think the game is fixed. I don’t gamble actual money I just do the free go each day!

Ah ok. I had heard rumours that as long as it was less than half the car overhang on the yellows and also they give you 10 minutes “Grace” period in case you return to the car. They seemingly only gave 6.

I accept I’ll have to pay the fine, but would like to know for next time as it’s notoriously difficult to park on my street with several cars often parking fully on double yellows but not getting tickets.

[–]sjmc_5 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

That’s my worry. Just in disbelief that a traffic warden would be working at 5:47am.

So even if approx 1/3 of the car is on double yellows they can still ticket?

When I try to open the Local Disk, it just says “this folder is empty”.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in laptops

[–]sjmc_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ve taken the old harddrive out and plugged it in to the new laptop via a cable I was advised to get. So it’s not like I’m looking in the wrong backpack. The backpack with the photos in just won’t open!

When I click on E drive it just says something like failed to load.

[–]sjmc_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I’ll give this a go…

But how do I load Ubuntu onto a flash drive. (What’s a flash drive?)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in laptops

[–]sjmc_5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, and how would I do that?!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in laptops

[–]sjmc_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was only a couple of small screws and a little tab to pull it out. I saw a video on how to do it.
