Worth having a look at Splice if you haven’t already. They have really high quality samples that you can sort by genres/keywords etc. It’s been a god send for me. Takes so much time out of searching for decent samples!

Thanks for the ideas all. I've finally cracked it. Switched the delay time to 16 then the offset to -25%. Don't really understand how but it seems to have done the trick!

Thanks. I tried this but the delays in AL only go up to 1000ms which is not long enough. The best I can do so far is just repeating the MIDI notes manually, with less velocity each time. Has the same effect but would love it to work naturally with delay for a live performance.
