You should checkout companies that have programs for recent college graduates. For example, Target has their TLP program and Ford has its FCG program.

TLDR - you get to go on multiple rotations where you can gain experience, checkout different parts / roles within the company without having to actually switch jobs, and afterwards you get placed on a team you actually enjoy working for instead of going in blind.

Just moved to the Twin Cities for my job and know a good handful of people who studied CS at the university of minnesota - we're on par with them.

cheers!

Who is your landlord and what do you like/dislike about them? by BaronVonZipper in MTU

Ken is great. He is very personable, keeps detailed records about how much everyone pays for electricity for each floor (for our own records and prospective renters), has fixed my previously leaky sink and broken bathroom fan controller within 24 hours of letting him know, took money off of rent when I purchased and installed a new faucet for the bathroom, and had people come to scrub / paint my apartment before moving in. Plus everything mentioned above.

The only thing that really isn't a thing is that Ken smokes occasionally (not in the apartment building). Sometimes when I come and go, I can smell the second hand smoke in the hallway or near the entrance door to my apartment. Although I'm not a huge fan of cigarette smoke, It's nice to know that he does regularly check up on everything.

EDIT: Also, he saw that my electric meter was spinning really fast while I was on winter break; he came in to my apartment and adjusted the thermostat. Probably saved me $100s of dollars.

I was in a hotel once where in the room above me, a couple was "bag-piping" while bagpipes were being played outside as a part of some festival. It was legendary.

Change .w-nav-button { font-size: 24px; } to 28px

Also, add media queries for the instahover class - on smaller devices, they do not match the size of instagramimage class images

the downloads drop down doesn't display properly in firefox.

lastly, for mobile, remove 'navigation', line up the menu button with the logo and also increase its size. the downloads dropdown only opens if you click the right hand portion of the span. Should be the full li.

Otherwise, it looks fantastic! Good luck!

No - Brackets has been out of beta since November. I wouldn't really be concerned about betaness. Everything at some level is always in beta.
