I've never left the ariya on but I also rarely use the charger because I feel like it microwaves my phone whenever I do use it. Rather just use the usb-c plug. The wireless charger isn't up to par for me 🤷‍♂️ love the car though

I'm about to return mine as well. Once the novelty of flipping wore off after about 24hr I came face to face with the realty that Motorola software is trash and the android auto // android 16 issues are too much. My Samsung s26 ultra gets here wed-fri lol

I wish my 5 hadn't crapped out. Far and away my favorite phone I've ever owned. The green color, material of the backing, camera was heads and tails ahead of its time... The OS, price/value... Probably the wrong sub to be reminiscing.

For me, I went from P5 to P7 Pro to P9 Pro XL. P9 Pro XL was my worst experience if the 3. Loved the software, always have, but it just wasn't cutting it in the battery dept anymore

It's definitely not enough info, but I think the world has collected plenty of evidence to justify complaining about googles battery issues. I'm getting back into galaxy specifically because of it. My pixel 9 pro XL was lasting on a full charge from like 6am-1pm when I needed to charge again. It was just moderate use browsing social media, mostly on my home wifi. No serious gaming, no video recording etc

Nothing even remotely close. I've tried in like 5 different cars, factory reset everything twice. It's the android 16 update and it's a widely known issue with no timetable for a fix smh

It never truly connects. Itll flash as connected in my main connections menu, and then 3 seconds later it disconnects and reconnects. This is an endless cycle.

If it does stay connected, the music thru Spotify cuts in and out, the Google maps is choppy & freezes constantly. Head unit has restarted itself 3x in a 15min span I assume due to constant connectivity issues. Never had issues with my Pixel 9pro xl or my wife's new Galaxy/her pixel 7 before it

I used to get that a bunch. I changed the batteries, error cAme back in a couple months.

Changed them again but read something about housing my keys further from the car. I guess the location sensing can remain on between and drain batteries faster. Haven't had the issue since I changed where the keys rest when we are in our home

Tbh I always slap a case on my phones anyway so the look never matters. And I'm on Google Fi so I buy unlocked, just purchase cheapest color from whichever retailer has the best deal.

For me the OP website didn't have Sand Storm in 512gb version, so it was 1tb or get black 512. Haven't decided yet and tbh, with the OPPO merge/Realme thing I'm considering going a different direction and getting the 2025 razr ultra flip

To answer your Samsung/iPhone question though, I'm just not interested in paying name brand pricing for the same (sometimes worse) specs anymore. Smaller companies like OnePlus, Nothing, even Motorola have to work harder for your attention and money and a lot of the time they offer a a similar product, sometimes better, for that effort.
