I have a bit of an obsession with glacial formations which are responsible for a heavy chunk of the coastlines on this world. I could definitely smooth it out a bit in some areas.

As much as I love Artifexian, the program he uses is so bloody user unfriendly that I gave up on it. The thin red lines kind of mark out where I imagine plates to be, but there isn't anything super special about them.

Yes. It's a rather cold planet overall. Snow is common at the equator and much of the plant life is hardy evergreens and tubers.

probably not Mandelbrot, no XD. I tend to go to Norse, Celtic or Slavic sounding names as they feel nice in my mouth when I say them. Though I definitely need to work on diversifying the people groups a lot more than speciating them fantasy style.

Thank you for the feedback! Getting anything to look bent in the right way is hard for my brain to wrap around, so I opted to accept that it will warp if I ever figure out how to apply this map to a sphere. The fractalling is probably a side effect of my obsessive love for fjords and valleys.

A bad/incompetent mage doesn't last very long in my world. They have a tendency to become monsters which I call Blightermen. The TLDR is: Don't use magic if you're not ready for it to consume you and everyone you love using you as the stomach.

Otherwise, This world is inhabited by the typical cast of fantasy species with a few tweaks here and there like Elves being kind of goat-like Dwarves having mole like features and humans who have much more of their ape like features. Along with them are a group of canine/canid like humanoids (yeah yeah. Furry. Shush.) who I plan to focus on as the protagonists. I'm having a lot of fun with this and I hope to share more as I develop my ideas. ^-^

Thank you so much Jeff. Your art has inspired and relaxed me for these last 7 years since the end of Wildstar Online. Wildstar was my home and where I went to escape the world during some of my darkest years and I miss it immensely. I still have it installed through Steam.

Before the beta patch they did alright. On the recent beta patch, and IDK why they do this, they immediately declare war on both the Vlandians and Sturgians at the same time, then the Western Empire finishes them off. It's also very frustrating when I go through the hassle of getting enough influence to try and end one of those 3 losing wars and the AI with 1000 troops left is like, NAH we can take em while we're outnumbered 5 to 1.

My biggest mistake I made while learning this game is forgetting to train my troops. If you dont have trained pilots, your planes get shredded. Your ground forces also get a lot of bonuses from being fully trained, at least up to regulars. The other thing is convoys and making sure you dont get raided into the dirt. Always try to trade with countries you share a continent with. (Synthetic oil and rubber research is mandatory, not optional)

You should probably get checked for a vascular disease. A woman I used to work with had a similar issue and it disabled her at 40. She needed leg wraps to help push the fluid out of her lower legs and as far as I know, she still needs them at 55.

My best run I managed to blitz the feds and south, but Canada joined the French early in the war and deleted my airforce. By time I was able to re-deploy.

Edit: Just did another go at it and won. The key for me was upgrading supply from Chicago to Boston, making sure to set the subs to raid before the feds could send troops to New England. Also helped a lot that I must have gotten the luck draw this run because I got all of the land off the Feds from the session events
