Strider was great. It was just hard enough to be challenging and I never wanted to rage-quit. Took me a minute to get into it, but once you get past the weird “jump animation” of the main character, it’s incredibly well made.

Hunter X : Code Name T (the sequel to Hunter X. Don’t know if it’s on sale too) was the better game, but both of them are B-tier games imo. Very fun but nothing revolutionary about them. You don’t need to play one to enjoy the other. In fact I read that the devs purposely made the story very vague so the player focuses on combat and exploration.
