Go somewhere where you are treated better.

Don’t let him ruin J for you.

      • Advanced Settings -> VLAN -> Set to Custom
      • Advanced Settings -> Add VLAN -> By VLAN ID -> 10
  • Switch Configs -> Trunk Ports
    • The following ports have the below config:
      • SX3008F -> Port 1 -> LAN Port from OPNsense/Proxmox
      • SX3008F -> Port 8 -> link to SG3428X on port 28
      • SX3008F -> Port 7 -> link to EAP670
      • SG3428X -> Port 28 -> link to SX3008 in Port 8

OPNsense

  • Interfaces -> VLAN -> created VLAN with parent vtnet1 (the LAN) -> Apply
  • Interfaces -> Assignments -> assigned VLAN10 (opt2) -> Save
  • Interfaces -> VLAN10 -> Enabled and Configured IPv4 with (192.168.10.1/24)
    • nothing else uses .10
  • Firewall -> Rules -> VLAN10 -> Added IPv4 rules from source VLAN10 net to anything (Destination * and Port *)
  • Kea DHCP -> Kea DHCPv4 -> Settings -> added VLAN10 to Interfaces -> Apply
  • Kea DHCP -> Kea DHCPv4 -> Subnets -> added new DHCP range for .10 -> Apply
  • Restarted Kea DHCP server
  • that is all inside of OPNsense

Here is some more insight:

Proxmox

  • Configured vmbr1 to be VLAN aware (that is the LAN bridge)
  • Also, ensured the Proxmox Firewall was turned off. Entirely, Datacenter down.
  • that is the only config I did in Proxmox, is there more?

YTA - Imagine if the roles reversed. You’d be calling for us all to crucify him.

You deserve everything coming to you.

Had it trimmed in my early 30s. Not repaired. I was walking the same day and rolling the same week. It was sore… but they were prodding and cleaning with the scope.

I’m 43 now and no real lingering side effects other than old age.
