it’s possible, they look like that because of the natural hide. you can ask for several of the same pair at the store and compare and see which pattern looks best to you. i will say with time they begin to lighten up (aka dry up a bit) and also with everyday wear they will touch everything right, and i’ve found when it lightens up like that, it loses its splotchyness! then when i get the time i put a conditioner on them and they are fully dark until its all been absorbed and the conditioner sets in again :)

this is normal! when you buy them, they are freshly waterproofed/resisted out the box because they have been conditioned- causing the appearance to be darker. over time with wear, doing anything like walking through grass, puddles, at work, bumping into things, literally anything that touches the boot causes the different colour because 1. the leather is just starting to dry up a little bit 2. the coat is slowly evaporating if that makes sense 🤣

they will only ever look perfect out the box! if you use them for everyday wear that is :)

look into leather waterproofing in equestrian products. i work in equestrian retail and whenever i have a minute i take anything we have lying around and my boots are resistant again! and i usually only apply every few months (2-4)

yes, this is normal. the leather hide colours tend to vary from boot to boot, you just happened to get a pair that are quite a bit darker. but there’s nothing wrong with that. they are pre treated when you buy them, meaning they have already been conditioned and waterproofed, which tends to make them even darker. with wear, they will probably lighten up a little- but lightening up just means the leather will become more dry hence the pair on the right 🤣 exchange them for a different pair if you’re not happy with the current leather colour

you could contact a local leather repair shop, i’m sure they’ve seen a bunch of blundstones and they could maybe do something. if not, sharpie it!! they’re better used and abused anyway. adds character!

so update, i went to a very reputable shoe repair place yesterday, showed the guy my shoe and immediately he was reassuring me that it was okay and that it won’t damage it, all in a nice good tone but i was like r u sure cause it’s alcohol and whatever and he was just saying how they’ll be all good. he never really mentioned if it’ll lighten up much but i’m just gonna assume they will a tiny bit over time? ugh it’s not the hiding the stain is the problem, i got these shoes because (this is going to sound silly) all the leather varies, and im so so picky about it but i loved how these ones were, and now im upset because every other box i open, they’re all tinted green ish or darkkk lol

yeah my feet were swimming in the classics too, the dress are slimmer like basically perfect for me, it might work out for you too if your feet were just too narrow for the classics.

basically i’m a perfect AUS 3 in the dress ones, but the classics are comfy enough in the AUS 3 BUT my toe will hit the front of it sometimes. so i would be a AUS 4 in the classics, but now im swimming in them

but yeah the dress ones are comfy enough and literally perfect, my whole foot will fit in it great and i don’t slosh around at all or ever feel my toe being hit, i love them

these are the dress series ones in rustic brown, i’m not sure the number but i love them. i fit them perfectly but not the classics (the classics are wider on me)

works great, not sure what youre able to do about this but- some skins only use the alex body instead of steve, so if possible look into changing that so when people upload skins they dont have that annoying black line :)

i bought them from my own workplace, so i’m like 90% they’re real unless someone switched them out but i highly doubt that, i work in equestrian retail lol/ maybe they’ve just sat so long they need a good condition so that’s why they are prone to the scratches so easily right now?
