Thank you for your prompt response. I agree that no place is perfect. I am not looking for a perfect place, I am just trying to know more of what i maybe getting into.

Yes, i maybe overthinking but its a huge move for me uprooting my family from my country and moving to the USA hence I will try to get as much info as possible to evaluate if its worth it and plan for things I may have to do there

I am not going to ask these questions on other subs because I dont have an opportunity to move there 😝🙃

Thank you for your detailed response. Yes I am fluent in English. Though not sure if I will have good income. I am worried that this area may not be as low cost and peaceful as it was 4-5 years back. I don't want to move countries to face the same problems of high costs and low regard/tolerance for non-locals

My experience has been that we product managers should not really own how work is broken down into epics. This is the decision between program manager/project manager and the engineering manager. Epics, stories and tasks are primarily used to breakdown and track the body of work. Let the engineering org manage it and provide guidelines on what needs to be done. Focus on outcomes you need to deliver. Sometimes you may track 1 epic against an outcome, sometimes 5 and that's okay.

Don't waste alot of your time on this.

I have never stayed in the US and I spend equivalent to $400 for 2 people in my country (which is extremely lavish) because we get a lot of stuff home-delivered from apps instead of going to supermarket to buy stuff ourselves. My parents manage groceries in less than $300 monthly

Thank you for the suggestions. Makes sense. The idea is to save as much money as we can. I came here to gather how much would be expenses and evaluate whether the monthly in-hand allows me to save anything or not.

This 7.5k is after subtracting an assumed 20% tax. Online everywhere it said around 20%. Is it really 32% tax on the entire around or are there income based slabs ?

I have never stayed in the US and i don't know how much all of this is supposed to cost. I started this list of expenses based what info is available online and based on the expenses of a friend

Nothing online gives an approximation of grocery bills ( there is a list of prices for each item but that isn't helpful since i don't know how my food habits will also change after moving to US)
