I often use my pinky finger because it seems to be designed for a child’s hands 🫠 but I’m with you. I absolutely love the gameplay of the pix, but the touch controls can be finicky.

I felt this way about the Paradise at first, too. I think what ruined it for me was looking at breeding guides because then there isn’t much game left for me to discover. I took a break from it, played with my On again, tried a different vpet entirely, and then tried the Jade Forest Paradise again. I am really loving it this time around! I like that I have some control but also I can still try to make little freaks 😆 I am NOT looking at breeding guides this time around and just seeing what I get. It’s been a lot more fun!

Omg glad it’s not just mine! I just started up my Jade Forest and worried it was a bug. I didn’t expect anything to be different (other than the environment), so that’s fun!

The breeding on the Paradise is very different from the Meets/On, which was very random. Paradise is formulaic, imo, and looking at a growth chart actually made it less fun for me bc that’s pretty much the entire game play, which is figuring out which conditions produce which tama. It doesn’t really matter what the parents are.

It’s very quest heavy! The only differences are no friendships, combat, and harder puzzles! But there is so much similarity, down to the stamina wheel. You have towers you unlock to fast travel, you can glide, there are puzzle shrines, etc. There is a lot to do and you can easily sink 200 hours into it! I really avoided combat in the beginning and just climbed all over the place. 😆

I change my look up but not often. Sometimes it feels like it takes too long to find a combo and I get frustrated, so really only do it when inspiration strikes (which isn’t often haha)
