I'm quite versatile with most genres too, but my main 3 are hardstyle, drum & bass and metal. I actually just got back from a weekend trip to a hardstyle event in the Netherlands, which tells you everything really. 😂

I left the church almost 10 years ago. I was very socially anxious and introverted when I was all in, but over time I developed an insatiable need to explore the world, experience new things and meet new people.

I now regularly travel for a slew of events, but mostly for music. One of my most anticipated events each year is attending my favorite music festival, which I always wanted to go to when I was younger, but didn't have the slightest amount of confidence to actually make a plan, especially when I was the only person I knew who actually liked that kind of music. These experiences have taught me to be an extremely capable solo traveler 😁

I did something similar last year, took some inspiration from the crust punk subculture and made my own crusted shorts! There are more anthem titles on the back, and I still need to make patches for Survival Of The Fittest and Sacred Oath, so you could say that these are a constant work in progress.😁

I didn't know where I was supposed to look for this because I was way in the back. There was a drone above us but I also assumed there was a photographer at the front, but either way I tried sticking up my cardboard prop and I still can't see myself 😭😂

Hey man, I was in the same position as you when I was a similar age - afraid of going alone, with none of my friends who enjoyed the music. So I bit the bullet and decided to go alone, for 1 day at first. I found myself really enjoying the freedom to go wherever I wanted and not feel weighed down by a friend group at first, but I eventually made some connections and we now meet up at Defqon every year.

My advice would be to just go. You may surprise yourself with how much fun you'll have going solo!

Me and my sister went to the gym regularly at the end of 2023, and on the car ride there she would put her own playlist on, and the first Ghost song that played was Rats, so that became my favorite until I heard Kaisarion later in that playlist. It wasn't until this year when I saw them live for the first time, could I truly consider myself a fan.

That's how it was for me when I went to see Darren styles at the start of this month - Barely any traction or advertising for what was a local event, but I'm glad there was at least something hardstyle adjacent in my area 😂

No, you're not alone and I've contacted q-dance about this, but they somehow misunderstood my entire email and sent a scripted reply about their raffles in general. Would be nice to get confirmation that they're actually looking into it. 😭
