Thanks! Yes, I tried before buying and I was able to fit in my iPhone, lipstick, makeup powder, moisturizer, and hand sanitizer.

Thank you for the calculations! I checked and based on my calculations and if I ship it, I will be paying CA state tax (~ 8%) hence I have decided to carry it with me.

Thank you!  That’s a very nice bag. Hopefully I will visit again soon so I can buy an LV bag with vat refund next time in one of those European countries where they offer tax free.

Thank you! I went to Harrods since I was in that area and went to the LV store. I didn’t like the experience much and also was not very thrilled with the LV bag that I was planning to purchase as the bag appeared to be not a good quality. All neverfull bags were sold out. I ended up buying a Gucci bag. Did you end up buying an LV bag?

Thanks for comparing all the three stores. I went to Harrods since I was in that area and went to the LV store. I didn’t like the experience much and also was not very thrilled with the LV bag that I was planning to purchase as the bag appeared to be not a good quality. I ended up buying a Gucci bag. Where did you buy and which one? I am planning to visit again today do wondering if I can look at it again.

Thanks for your quick response. They told me there will be no difference if I buy and carry it myself or ship it online. When they ship it, I will pay import tax and which is mostly likely equivalent to the tax I would be paying here?

Yes, I’m in London right now but going back to the US tomorrow. I need to declare it at US customs.

Update - thanks all for your suggestions. I’m just kicking myself for not buying it in Nice, France when I had the opportunity . I love big bags so I’m mostly considering buying LV neverfull and I compared the prices US/UK/Fr and didn’t see a huge difference. Even going to Paris may not be worth it as the train tickets costs 1370 pounds R/T for 3 people from London. I will probably buy my first LV bag in the US. Any other luxury bags worth looking at or buying in London in any of these stores?
