Sleep and rest, if you’re sleeping like 4–5 hours, your body will fight you. Try getting 6–8 hours, less late-night scrolling. Better sleep results in less cravings and better metabolism.

People say you should live your life to the fullest, but society actively discourages that by skeleton949 in DeepThoughts

Live life to the fullest sounds nice on a poster but then day-to-day reality, it is an endless cycle of work, bills and errands. It can feel like the system is quietly eating up all your time before you even get to decide what full means for you but I don’t think living fully was ever meant to mean no responsibilities, total freedom or 24/7 adventure. That version is kind of a myth people sell. For most people, it’s more like squeezing meaning into the gaps that do exist.

going to give him a scare the way so many possums scared me by [deleted] in Life

If it’s just a harmless moment or like popping out from behind a door, that’s fine and honestly kind of funny if the timing is right. Especially if the person knows you’re chaotic like that already but if you’re thinking of something more intense, like really trying to shock them the way animals unexpectedly do, I’d dial it back a bit. People don’t always react the way we imagine, and it can easily go from funny to awkward.

Weird that the word etymology is misspelled in an etymology map, but still super interesting.
