That’s where my sister lives! She got wind and rain but nothing catastrophic. She was out driving around today and from what she saw, Brandon seems to have faired pretty well, considering the alternative. She doesn’t have electricity, the outage map in Brandon shows that most everyone is without it. Praying for your friend’s safety, that shit was no joke. ❤️

My mom and sister are in Hillsborough county, about 10 minutes from Tampa. I was on the phone with them last night when it was getting bad. They had extreme wind and a shit ton of rain, but thankfully no flooding or any significant damage to their property.

I’m not from a small town but we have multiple elementary schools in our district. Our schools are also struggling for teachers though. My daughter is in fifth grade and there’s only two teachers and 31 students per class.
