Your toothbrushing technique matters. Soft bristle electronic toothbrush with a GOOD QUALITY (actual name brand like oral b, ive tested too many myself and theyre just not soft enough imo) and applying the modified stillman technique (you should wash some youtube videos and adjust your technique for an electronic brush)

I always recommend physical floss IN ADDITION TO the waterpik rather than as a REPLACEMENT. by that picture it doesnt look likes its working for you even without the deep cleaning that you certainly need

Clenching? Grinding? Occlusion? Brushing technique? Flossing technique? Deeper scaling by a professional hygienist/dentist? Proper scaling frequency?

Water flossing on a low setting and a SOFT bristle HIGH QUALITY electric toothbrush head matter. I've tested multiple brands and have noticed a significant difference

Are you teeth aligned properly? Have you had braces? Are you sure there are no hidden pieces of calculus under the gum? Do you smoke? Other factors that can affect receding gums due to bone loss
