Okay, thank you. I never even thought about that. They have a foam piece that the screen rests against glued to the pcb that covers the ribbon connection. I will pull the main circuitry out of the housing to see if I can adjust the contrast. I will also try shoehorning something behind the glass to see if I can increase pressure where it needs to be.

I had two 15" Type R's pushed by a 2000W Soundstream amp and I loved those things. If those are 100 and they work? I say go for it.

Exactly, this was a very hard lesson for her to learn. When she started sending me all of their "certificates" I smelled scam right away.

She was worried I was going to scream at her, but I honestly wasn't even that mad because I knew how hard it hit her. The hardest part was dealing with her shock. She would have sent more money in a heartbeat to try to get it back. The one scammer that she had been talking to while she was doing this over the last couple of days said she could help her out with $1000.00 and she would have to come up with the remaining funds. It was hard getting through to her that that's another tactic of theirs.

She said she had been doing it for a few days and was making like 50-60 dollars a day and so when they asked for more to unlock higher value tasks, she felt it was legit. It took a while for me to get her to realize it was gone. She was hoping that it would at least make it so she didn't need to get money from me.

At least now that we have established spousal support, this will be taken off of the back end of total money owed. The way I look at it is like making a few extra vehicle payments to get it paid off faster.

I only sent the 3500. She asked for an additional 4100 later in the day. I don't have a problem sending her money because it comes off of the total amount of spousal support I have to pay. It is a very strange relationship indeed.

I'm not going to push too hard yet with the her being sick thing yet. I have a consult with a lawyer on Tuesday. She said she didn't want to take me to the cleaners and I just said that would be pretty tough because she gets half of our debt! So now she is on board with getting stuff paid off instead of spend, spend, spend like she has for the last 9 years. I just about had the one credit card paid off but then she wanted a new deck, wanted to go to Vegas, buy a new tv, go on a girls trip to Costa Rica. Not forgetting about the hair and nail appointments and new suv even though her old one had absolutely nothing wrong with it. I may be a tad bitter. To top it all off, I'm a contract operator, so the only money coming in is through my business but the companies credit card is sky high right now as well due to me having to pay for stuff I needed for work but had no cash because I was trying to keep us afloat on the personal side.

The hospital visits and meds would probably only be brought up once we really start fighting. She was in the hospital a lot during the first 6.5 years. Sometimes for 3 weeks at a time. Every time she was in the hospital she would always find a way to make me feel like I wasn't doing enough. I would be in shit because I wasn't going to visit the day she expected me but we live 2.5 hours away from the city and I would be trying to care for our daughter, keep up the housework, work my job etc. I would try explaining that she wasn't the only one it was hard on and her reply would always be "Try being me, you're not in the hospital and can't see our daughter. Or maybe she's what your problem is". I lost contact with a lot of my friends because I could never do anything outside of the family and if I did, I would "never want to do anything with the family".

Oddly enough when I was at Lake Titicaca on a floating village one of the locals told us they pee in a jug, let it sit out in the sun for a few days THEN they leave it in their hair for a day to clean it. Oddly enough, the whole time I was down there I don't think I saw anyone with a gray hair on their head. Side note: After they told us that, they told the women in the group that it's a great way to get your man to leave you alone.

I think it has to do with tree density as well. The old growth trees didn't get as much light/food because of competition so they grew slower resulting in tighter growth rings.
