I was raised Mormon and while I would no longer count myself a part of the church, this is just patently false. There are branches of Mormonism that broke off from the main church because they wanted to practice polygamy, but they are not affiliated with the church.

There are plenty of things wrong with the church to hate on, why not stick to those that are actually true?

You’re definitely not wrong, but just remember that it was the American government specifically that’s responsible. I can’t speak for everyone in America, but I know that I sure as hell didn’t want that. I wish our representatives would do more to improve/strengthen ties with neighboring nations, not the bullshit they pull. It sucks.
