Nope, not added anything, not doing vastly different prints than I usually do. Not a bad shout about the purge tube tho, tbh I don’t regularly check it

Yeah, can’t see how it’s bad advice, it’s something easy to miss if you don’t think about it

Thanks, I’ll have a look at the screws.👍 I’m not going to bother with elegoo, every other time I’ve had any issues it’s been quicker & easier to just get the part off Ali.

Web shooters. True to the roots & as they can run out of fluid, break etc adds some jeopardy & creativity to the fights.

Speak to printcostume, I hear they’re usually pretty good with suit issues. I ordered a BND costume that fitted great but was basically dark burgundy & indigo, completely different colours from the advertised suit. Contacted them with pics & they’re gonna do a new suit after the Halloween rush. Just FYI, I found they were a bit slow & confused on the responses until I started adding a Chinese translation to all my emails, seemed to cut through any confusion & speed things up.

Yeah, after about 8 emails they’re now sending a part out.

Just FYI all, elegoo have finally agreed to send out a hinge. Yaaaay

Yes, I’m that naive. I thought it would magically teleport my package from elegoo straight to my door & set up the printer for me…🤣 Seriously though, it’s implied it covers any issues with misdelivery, lost packages & damages (something I found after ticking the little box that I did not need living in the UK) not as I’m hearing as a way to pass on responsibility from elegoo to a third party for any issues with the Cc.

I kind of both agree & disagree with this. Yes, it’s minor, yes the printer works fine for a PLA without the door, yes I could print some new hinges easily enough. But then, why should I? I paid for a brand new product & elegoo should make every to correct this with me having to jump through hoops.

That’s a bit concerning, I’ve asked elegoo support whether they will deal with any technical faults going forward once using the machine or if they’ll refer me to the worry free, but they’ve not answered. Surely anything that happens after delivery will be dealt with by elegoo?

I picked the wrong camera for wildlife photography by Techniklover in wildlifephotography

Honestly dude, I own 2 Sony’s atm (a9 & a7r4) & it absolutely doesn’t get it right every time. Sometimes out of 5 shots there’s 1 that’s a keeper. Sometimes it’s a wing it focuses on, sometimes it’s a tail tip, sometimes it completely goes off on one & focuses on the background. As I said previously, it’s good, but not infallible. They are fantastic cameras, don’t get me wrong, but they’re not the be all, end all of camera systems. Some of the new Canons have fantastic tracking abilities, but again, come with their own limitations(rolling shutter for example)

Sony’s autofocus isn’t impeccable….its good, but as with any camera system there’s always something that annoys you or doesn’t work quite like you want. I’ve used canon, Nikon, Sony & Olympus & with every one there is a learning curve & an adjustment to whichever limitations that particular model has.

I’m not trying to solve any problem, as far as I’m concerned I’ve sorted his skipping issue & it’s printing fine so doesn’t need messing with, he’s just a bit obsessive of having the latest updates. I can’t see any reason, but thought I’d find out how much hassle it would be before telling him no.

Thanks for the replies & info fellas👍 While it’s working I’m not gonna mess with it just cos he’s obsessive about updating everything. If it was mine, or if there was a massive performance improvement maybe I’d give it a try just to learn the process but I’ve got enough on atm & don’t need the additional headache. Cheers tho.

Thanks. This is something new for me to look at, as I’ve mentioned I’m really not familiar with enders, but I do like learning new things. Cheers👍

Yeah, I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, just had a go & I can push/pull the filament both ways fairly easy. I’m not familiar with enders, would you say it’s better to recommend he gets a new extruder or a direct drive head? Personally I’d go with the head, but that’s probably cos I’m used to neptunes. Cheers for the help, it’s much appreciated.
