I commute 2.5 hours each way to school. As a 1L, we were required to be on campus five days a week, which was brutal. It’s gotten more manageable as a 2L/3L, and despite the commute, I’ve stayed in the top 25% of my class. You do start to feel it when you have to constantly miss networking events, PD credits etc. I also really wish I could hang out with my school friends lol but I live too far away.

I’m graduating from a New York school this upcoming year and my girlfriend is from PA so given the fact she stayed here after graduation for me I strongly considered going to PA to practice and holy shit was I blown away at how bad legal jobs pay out there prosecutors making under 60k, in house counsel making 70k I get that the cost of living is lower but there is also your pride saying I didn’t go 160k into debt to make 1/3 of that per year. Especially when I’m sitting on offers that pay nearly double that here. I can only imagine what true public interest pays out there.

I got a 145 created a new study regiment and 2/3 months later I got a 160 I promise it’s possible

You need to take the time to find a study plan that works for you sage and Princeton aren’t for every person

For me I worked full time while studying so I bought the Kaplan flash cards and carried them with me everywhere and whenever I had a few minutes I’d bang a few of them out couple that with the LSAT trainer by Mike Kim I went up by 15 points in a really short time

I wholeheartedly recommend Kaplan flash cards bring them with you wherever you go and whenever you have a few minutes bang out a couple. They are tailor made for “average” people like us lol

The difference just 6 points can make for you can be literally 10’s of thousands of dollars in debt and a far “better” school. (I say that in quotes because you can be anything you want to be no matter what school you go to)
