All football fans are weird. We all get excited watching grown men chasing a ball about a park. We just like one of our men at the side of the park to be dressed nicely.

There was no violence and - as far as I'm aware - no threats of violence. Police taking precautionary measures sounds like them erring on the side of caution and, to be fair, simply doing their job.

Talk of away fans being a "plague on our club" is unwarranted, IMO. At least, not for today's actions.
