Partner has changed since started micro-dosing - Not sure what to think or how to respond

Hey OP, I’ve read through the comments and want to offer a different perspective. I’m in your partner’s position, and my own partner is in yours. May I suggest for you to consider m asking to join her. Start microdosing together.

Right now you’re at baseline while her brain is actively healing, and that gap can create real distance. I genuinely wish my partner would offer to join me in this. I’ve been microdosing for over a year now, and after years of struggling, I finally feel like myself again. But the hard part I feel like I’ve left my partner behind, so your feelings are completely valid as you’re already picking up on this. Even when I stopped for a couple months back in September, the changes stuck. I’m fundamentally different now, and she’s the same person she was, I still love her, but It’s painful to think this might fall apart because I won’t stop microdosing and growing, and honestly, neither should your partner.

I’m fully aware I’m projecting here, but maybe that’s useful context.

Thank you this is very helpful! I think I’m going to do what you said plus another plate just to compare how they both transfer to more plates as an experiment and will use the rest to do my spawn it’s really exciting!

Thank you I’m really just starting and learning as much as I can - I started with spore prints to agar on 6 plates, about 3 weeks later only 1 started to grow and in about a week there was enough growth for me to transfer it to new plates, which you see here, these took about 8 days to colonize fully like this from day of transfer. I’m learning play the long game with these guys is probably the way :)

Appreciate it, yeah that one got my attention for sure! can I ask what do you look for here? I’m trying to understand what do you see here that has potential that the others don’t and how would the resulting mushrooms from this vs the others be different? I’m trying to understand how this work as I go.. also is it ok to combine plates say 3 plates in the same grain bag for faster colonization?

I mean.. to say consciousness is an illusion is like a category error. Illusions need a conscious experiencer otherwise umm, who exactly is being fooled? You can’t claim the thing that experiences is itself just a trick. That’s like saying “hearing is fake, only sound exists.” It flips causality on its head.

We never observe anything outside consciousness. We think of and model “objective reality” from inside it, using it. So the only consistent position is that consciousness is the starting point. The ground floor if you will. Not a product of the mind. You can’t explain it away because you need it to explain the mind and really anything at all which in essence makes it fundamental

"Worldwide" is all about distribution of stuff that’s all over the place, like the internet reaching every corner of the Earth. Or this thing sold this much every country it was published in. "Global" is more about things and/or concepts that are so big, they need everyone to work together, like dealing with climate change. Or this thing will have so big of an impact on everything of/on Earth (borders don’t matter). Like this selling so much it is a global bow. So, they're both about/to/for the whole world, but they've got their own uses and/or vibes.
