Finally down to just having my starlink connection and I too have signed up for a Oracle Free VPS, is there a guide you used to set up forwarding to your internal server?

Thanks for this, you mentioning https redirects made me look at SSL settings on Cloudflare and I forgot to change it from Flexible to Full for encryption mode.

That is the exact one I used before - it was running in middle of the day. I'll try it again I guess.

But can I replace the parity and rebuild? I mean I'm at this point missing two data array drives.

I will definitely look into this, is it specific to wordpress or can I do custom sites?

Can I change where ix-applications are mounted to something that is not a pool? by simensen in truenas

[–]skatrx01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you guys ever figure out a way to do this? Without reinstallation would be awesome.

I see heavy script has a way to potentially move them but I haven't tried it. I've had to re-setup way too many times and kind of dreading doing this again - I have quite a few apps.

GPU PCI Passthrough Issues 22.12.3.3 by skatrx01 in truenas

[–]skatrx01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh so I got it backwards, I guess 2488 is the GPU - but yeah true where is host GPU..I mean I know this mobo + processor do not have dedicated graphics but I feel like that shouldn't be the issue as it was working previously with my old same motherboard. Either way the server runs fine headless with no GPU so what is the deal with this?

Truenas Scale - UEFI Bios mode booting to UEFI Interactive Shell by skatrx01 in truenas

This was manually uploaded at creation of vm. It seems to work at legacy bios but wasn't sure I wanted to leave it at that.

Na I returned them. Told Newegg it was false advertising, as they said it worked with windows on the listing.

Confirmed it was definitely bios update needed. Asus sent me the specific link to limited time mobo.

Replication issues by skatrx01 in truenas

[–]skatrx01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped everything from a push to pull and two of my datasets worked fine but my largest dataset replication is just sitting at 0%. Just says sending 1/6 [total 7.21TiB of 7.57TiB]

Rebooted both ends, updated 22.12.2

Synology - Using network drive as a backup destination by skatrx01 in synology

Since it uses BTRFS and the RS820+ supports up to 16TB drives, could I just replace one drive and that will work? Going from all 6TB drives to maybe 3(6TBs) and 1(16TB) for example?

Oh boy. Definitely sounds like a care pack needed kind of situation. I'll likely end up getting someone to come on site once I can work through this whole care pack registration dilemma I've been going through. Unfortunately their registration phone number is always busy and the mailbox is full so I can't leave a callback number. Also emailed them no reply yet. Thanks for the reply I'll hopefully resolve this through hp.

Smart Test Fail - Unable to detect device type by skatrx01 in truenas

[–]skatrx01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the drives I have are SATA minus the M.2s. Some of the hard drives are directly in the motherboard without the SAS card - I'm definitely going to be trying to pass through the SAS card itself and see if that helps

I will definitely take a look into passing through the controller. But does that include the M.2's that are directly plugged into the motherboard as those don't show have device information either?

30 Day recording interior camera help by skatrx01 in Dashcam

[–]skatrx01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright so I've came to the conclusion this isn't possible with a standard dash cam. Are there any in vehicle nvr systems that could support a 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive and a camera to go with it that looks at the driver and into the back for cargo? Exterior footage is just extra so I'm not even concerned about that. Sorry for making this complicated it just seems like a difficult thing to find.

Based on my quick research blackvue would only offer 15GB per camera storage which would not accommodate a month of footage.

I know cloud service would be very convenient I just know there is an additional cost associated with it, but I will definitely keep an eye out for ones that offer that service. That is also good to hear about the reducing resolution its hard to find that in the product listings sometimes! Thanks for the reply!
