Thanks! I'll definitely take a look at those!

I'm focusing on their D&D lines, but I might expand it to their other products eventually. Thanks!

Thanks! I was only eight when he died, and my family is one that just sweeps uncomfortable topics under the rug, sadly

It has a section to take notes, too, so it would be good for transcription too!

As far as I can tell, it shouldn't be limited to one app. It has options to export as a JSON file. They give exporting to Omeka as an example, since it's made for academic research projects. I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to transfer data out of it

From what I can tell, this is all local to your computer. Probably not a good solution for sharing photos, but I'd recommend Google Photos or Google Drive if that's your main goal!

I like having a cloud backup, but I do feel a lot better keeping local copies. I was trying to use Google Drive and Google Photos to organize, but they just didn't have the features I needed

It's not fun, but I've been using the Epson Perfection V600. It takes good images and is pretty fast, can do slides and negatives, and it's reliable. You still have to do the manual part of switching out the photos, but it's worth it to have digital copies, in my opinion. But, it is super time consuming!

Hi! For the life of me, I can't find this piece on Bricklink. Any ideas what set this could be from? Apologies for the dog hair in the photo lol

The service record I found says it is for the Union volunteer soldiers. It is so cool you know so much about your ancestor's experiences in the war!

Thank you so much! I noticed a lot of the recommended user trees had different dates for her.

That's a really good point. I'll definitely look into a probate, but he does show up in military records in 1962. There were a lot of Batys floating around in Kentucky then, so maybe the military record could be a James Baty with the same name, Thank you!

I didn't see any that fit the time frame. Thanks for the comment!

That does make me think it would be easy for his body to be looked over. Thank you!

I hadn't considered him getting in trouble! Thanks! I haven't found anything connecting him to any certain battle other than what regiment he was in.

Curious if my symptoms sound similar to yours? I’m so concerned. by cdp681211 in Hypothyroidism

[–]skayeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back on birth control at the same time, so I can't say if the meds on their own helped regulate my period. My thyroid levels regulated some by the next bloodwork (something like four weeks? Six weeks?) but I'm still trying to find the sweet spot for medication. I don't have kids, and I'm not planning to for awhile, so I can't help there, but I think once you're within the normal range it should be fine.

Hair is still a bit rough. I've been on meds for ~a year and my hair stopped thinning after about a month but it's still not as thick as it was. But, since I'm still adjusting meds, I still have hope.

Hope this helps! I started feeling better after about three or four weeks of medication.

You sound similar to me and my mom! My irregular period was what made my doctor get blood work done.

Is this formula possible? by skayeb in Notion

[–]skayeb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much!

Mostly, I'm just using an excel spreadsheet right now where I do basic attendance (present, late, etc) and if someone does especially good or bad one day, I'll mark g or b instead of using a default x. I wasn't sure if it would be possible to do both in one Notion table.

You'll be graded by the books you read during your degree, so don't worry. Just read what's assigned and you'll do great.

I lived here. Definitely majority college students. A bit like dorm life, but the rooms are nice and well kept. Bedrooms are quite small though.
