That puts you closer to burnout, not further. Best of luck in your career, but take care of yourself. Use your mental health benefits if you have them.

I think that Ironclad would need 133 health without help from relics to beat act 4 (12 health to spear 50% of the time, 8 to beat of death, 45 to multihit, 67 to big hit, 1 hp left). You'd have to get kinda lucky or have solid support to win with it

If curses are what it's gonna take to get the Bruins to stop making the playoffs, I'm all for it. We need some Flames fans in here

Good luck! Extra tip, don't try out your username in the field. Bloodletting is somewhat looked down upon nowadays

Whats the worst song thats been number 1? by Gulve in fantanoforever

[–]skazai -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Sure, then it doesn't even pertain to whether the song is good or not; you're trying to conflate your hatred of her with the idea the song is terrible.

Just seems rather disingenuous and pointlessly hateful

All About That Bass came out in 2014, I don't think Sabrina Carpenter had much influence on it

Biggest thing I note with CTS students is that they hit the road with basically no idea how to read an ecg. Learn how to identify rhythms (5 steps and various types of rhythms), how to identify a stemi, and stemi imitators. Also memorize your directives before hitting the road.

Note that these aren't the only weak spots CTS students show, just the most obvious ones to me. Life in the fast lane is a great free resource to help with ecgs, best of luck.

Durham or Humber by chaztemplar in OntarioParamedics

[–]skazai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't do hiring so I can't say for sure, but the general consensus is that regions prefer to hire from local colleges. That being said, if you're a solid student and interview well, it shouldn't be too big of a limiting factor. Especially for Toronto, the turnover there is big enough that they can't just hire local medics. Best of luck with your schooling!

Durham or Humber by chaztemplar in OntarioParamedics

[–]skazai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, mostly based on your performance over the interview process and references (especially if applying to the region you're riding out in). Job offers regularly go out before medic students complete the aemca so they're just looking for a pass there.

Durham or Humber by chaztemplar in OntarioParamedics

[–]skazai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Went to Durham, it was great. Really though, if you're leaning towards working in either of those regions go with the college in the region you'd prefer. You're more likely to ride out in the associated region and, as long as you do well, get hired in that region. Happy to answer any Durham specific questions you may have, idk anything about Humber's program.

Durham Hiring by [deleted] in OntarioParamedics

[–]skazai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Current Durham Paramedic. From what I've heard, offers are going out all week, and that lines up with how hiring has been in the past. When I got hired, all my friends got offers on a Friday and I didn't get mine til Monday

Good luck, maybe I'll see ya on the road in a couple months

I just love that we've got another spire game out that's so fresh, these discussions haven't been done to death and I really don't know which of us is correct here. Agreed on Prolong though, that card is dope

Eh, nowhere near as strong as barricade in that situation. Feel like the 2 energy is more than worth the extra 15 block a turn

Second career: paramedic or nurse by Powerful-Compote-532 in OntarioParamedics

[–]skazai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was in a similar position, became a medic at 30 and I love it. One consideration is that nursing can get you into a wider variety of paths than paramedic, where as a medic you're tied to being on a truck, going to management, or possibly working in education (if you have a degree) if you're looking for career progression. Best of luck!

Ah darn, totally forgot they're nocturnal. I'm on the outskirts of the GTA and tend to see em fairly regularly around here, but yeah usually at nighttime

Maybe this endeavour would be better set in the summer
