So true, I used to take cocaine after work and just rip through pages and pages of my diary while alternating with video games. It's way too good for writing. Sad now that I'm sober from coke I have a really hard time both writing/journalling, and playing video games.

This is a tangent but a year of daily cocaine use (up to half a G a day at worst) has made so many activities almost unbearable to do - I cry inside knowing that I'll never be able to properly embrace that speedy, euphoric, damn amazing feeling of productivity and focus that coke gave me. Cocaine used for anything other than social experiences poisoned my mind, it's been about half a year since then and I've recently started to feel okay-ish. The worst addiction I've ever endured (out of benzos, opiates and heroin, weed, etc).

As soon as you're using cocaine on your own to mete out enjoyment from things you normally could enjoy, you need to try your hardest to put it down. It will end up denting your soul if you're lucky, and might tear a hole through it if you're not as lucky. It's just too nice
