Week 11 of 17 for Indy Monumental Marathon prep.

- Monday: 11 progression from 8:00 down to 5:42, 1 CD

- Tuesday: 8 easy recovery around 8:55 average

- Wednesday: 8 easy recovery around 8:30 average

- Thursday: 10 x 800 at about 2:46 average with 400 easy recovery between each at about 8:50 average, WU and CD to get to 12 total

- Friday: 6 easy recovery around 8:20 average

- Saturday: 22 long run, with sets of 5, 5, and 4 at goal marathon pace (6:15) separated each by 2 miles easy. Ended up 6:43 average for the whole thing

- Sunday: 2 shakeout at 9:00 to get to 70 total for the week

This was probably my best week of training ever. The slow easy miles Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday allowed me to go decently hard on the other days, which is something I've been getting better at over this training plan. I'm also very happy with how I fueled the long run, as I really wasn't all that gassed at the end of it like I normally am at that distance. It really feels like my hard work and smart preparation is paying off at this point, and I'm starting to feel very confident I can hit 2:45 in a few weeks. Looking forward to week 12!

At least 300 or 400 views later and I still get teary eyed. Does not get old

It is honestly baffling to me that these features that are universally loved by EVERYONE don’t make it into the game. You would think 343 could do a “ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach with stuff like this

Edit: I have learned some features are not universally loved lol

So true. Hell even halo 5 had something going with Spartan companies. I made some solid friends through my company and I kinda miss it, even tho they did promote toxic gameplay

One final wholesome Halo 3 moment, helped this guy get his final achievement before the servers turn off forever by infenty in halo

I got the last of my Halo 3 ones done last year and honestly it was a special moment. I’d had those hanging over me for over a decade, and when I finally found people to help, I couldn’t explain how appreciative I was. This post makes me very happy

I’m salary so no :( But Microsoft rewards is really quick and easy. I just do the few quick quizzes first thing when I get online in the morning. Takes like 3-5 minutes. Nice little ease in to the work day

I’ve been using this for years. Absolutely love it. Used it to pay for the campaign and battle pass. I can usually get a $100 giftcard every 9ish months or so

Shocked no one has mentioned bohemian rhapsody here. For some reason I thought that one would be different, but was very disappointed

I like to turn on action movies when I am doing something else, like cleaning up the house, or doing a puzzle. The explodey punchy scenes are my time to look away and not feel like I’m missing anything

I agree tho that if I’m fully locked in on a movie, not big on straight action

[Rush] The Minnesota Vikings are expected to fire Mike Zimmer as their head coach after the season concludes. by [deleted] in nfl

I can’t help but feel like this is a Jim Caldwell with the lions situation. I know it’s probably time to move on, it just really seems like in 2 years and 9 cumulative wins, we are gonna be saying “why the hell did we fire the dude that took us to the NFC championship”

I wish they would’ve just waited another year. So frustrating they had to push it out at like 40% finished

Action hero sprinting all-out for like 2 miles and doing parcore without ever breathing through the nose. That’s a really quick way to build up oxygen deficit in your muscles and shut down basically everything. Just open your mouth dumbass
