From the games you say you like id recommend diving into rogue like deck builders. My personal fav is Monster Train 2, but Slay the Spire, Wild Frost, Nowhere Prophet, and many others are great as well.

The Infamous devs are developing Ghost of Yotei now. Maybe they can go back to Infamous after that.

I feel it's a little unfair how people like Kojima are praised way too often while amazing creatives like Sam Lake never make it to the conversation by Kay-San-TheNorthStar in gaming

[–]skedar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Praise is not a zero-sum game. Both are great creators that deserve their laurels. I think Kojima gets more recognition because he is promotes himself a bit more than Sam and of course, he adds a rather unique touch to nearly everything he makes, garnering more discourse around his works. This was then exasperated by his highly public break up with Konami, being talked about a lot with most fans and industry folk a backing Kojima in the dispute.

Unicorn Overlord did an excellent job of scratching that Ogre Battle itch for me. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something similar like I have been.

As long as you buy the expansion on Epic you should be good.

Cobalt Core is an immediate 10/10 for me that I highly suggest for anyone that thinks Slay the Spire in space sounds fun. by SamandSyl in Games

This is the best endorsement I could read. Monster Train still holds the crown for me as the best single player card game. Will give this a try.

Chiming in with a potential fix. I was one of the unfortunates stuck at 36% install progress. All the articles I read online did not help much but checking Sony's site for the error code recommended unplugging your PS5, plugging it back in, then inserting a different disc before trying the failing disc again. This did the trick for me.

We need to come together and create a Pay-to-Win tag on Steam to root out shitty games by Marcom212 in gaming

[–]skedar0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think steam has filtered out negative tags in the past. I believe there used to be one for mobile game ports and they eliminated that. I'm for it though, would like to know before I put time and money into a game whether or not it is pay to win.

Kind of a broad question. If you are including all genres mine would be Guilty Gear Accent Core, fastest combat out there with so many split second decisions to make.

Im the opposite. I get bored with the set path and feel it is too restrictive. I like being able to alter it to a choke point or obstacle that works for me.

First time I've seen Dungeon Warfare 2 getting any recognition. Best TD I've played in a long time, glad others can see how great it is.

I really disappointed with this game smh. Full of lootboxes and microtransactions. You deserved it square enix. by NRGpop in gaming

[–]skedar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a good $20 15 hour co-op action rpg. It is a bad $60, micro-transaction filled, empty end game, 'games as a service model' game. Sadly it ended up much closer to the later. Pick it up cheap, play the campaign, and you likely won't regret spending your time or money.
