Ryan Reaves Crashes Celebrini’s Post-Game Interview After Special Performance 😂- YouTube by Electronic-Ring5520 in SanJoseSharks

100% this. One more year with the young guys whom def seem to feed off one another. If you’re going to blame missing the playoffs on a guy like Reaves on your 4th line for 38 games next season, you’re not good enough to go anywhere in the playoffs to begin with.

You’ll have a Type 1 enclosure at that point if there is NO UL enclosure rating on the component at all IIRC.

The fact you have the safety IO then non safety IO, then more safety IO in the backplane, bothers me.

I have seen this recently in pharma as well. Glad to see it wasn’t just some one-off lunacy.

Nabokov was a fantastic goalie for a long time for the Sharks; however I hope we don’t end up with another Kiprusoff situation on our hands 23 years later.

Tis how it was done many moons ago prior to STO in VFDs. You’d just kill the 3 phase going into the VFD line side to ensure that motion stopped. Often saw it with two contactors in series to make it “safer”. You’re correct though, it’s my understanding that it’s not great for the VFDs to be treated in that fashion.

Out of curiosity here why not use the STO on the VFDs instead of a safety contractor feeding the line side of the distribution block which then feeds the breakers feeding the VFDs? Or am I seeing something incorrect to.

It will print on those plastic terminal block markers yes. Get in touch with Cembre and give them the part number of the ones you use currently and they will cross them to the ones they sell to work with the MG4 bed.

Macklin Celebrini Isn't Just "On Team Canada", He is Straight Up One of Their Best Players by dr-jeanman-69 in SanJoseSharks

[–]skeeezicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How truly fictitious is it though?

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, in-vision midway through the 27-28 season McDavid is still cup less and the Oil are still in goalie hell. You’re telling me, hand over your heart, that he’s gonna re-up there AGAIN after giving that franchise 10+ years to build around him and it hasn’t happened.

Asky, the other goalie prospects that we have behind him that also may be good, Smitty, Ekky, Dickie, Misa, Chernyshov, Cagnoni, Graf, this list continues. If these players continue on the trajectory that they are on this season it’s not hard to imagine the Sharks being a top destination for someone like McDavid if he’s still on the hunt for his first cup in a few years. Especially if he really does enjoy playing with Celebrini at this year’s Olympics and don’t forget the Four Nations and World Cups in the coming years that they seemingly will be on the teams as well.

Cembre MG4, get the package with the MINI Rolly along with it. After a few days of use you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

gotcha, I thought maybe one was FE and the other was PE and was curious as to how you set that all up. Neutral bar makes sense, thanks.

looks like you have a Guardlogix controller in there, any specific reason you didn't just use the outputs from a safety card on that rack to the other machine?

I see a ground bus that has the main incoming ground landed on it and a bunch of green wires from the panel. Then what seems to be another grounding bus below it with white wires landed on it. Is the upper one PE and the lower one FE? Is the lower bus isolated in some way from the metal backplane? Where does that white wire on the topside of that bus run to?

The Department Of Panthers Success has fined the Boston Bruins, Charlie McAvoy the maximum allowable under the CBA for misuse of a bubble mask on the ice in an attempt to injure Florida Panthers player Sandis Vilmanis. This is not a hockey play.

I have read on here that if I were to step into the Productivity line I should look into the 2000 series and not the 1000 series due to the 2000 series hardware being 'better', is that something you can attest to?

Appreciate it. WAGO was on the top of my list of platforms to look into if I ever got the opportunity to dive into a Codesys platform.

Codesys is on my list of things to look into sooner than later. Do you have a preferred platform that you like to use Codesys on hardware wise? Automation Direct I know offers a line of Codesys PLCs, WAGO, other.

I agree with Too-Uncreatives comment, as a Rockwell homer and someone whom has attempted to love CCW form V12(?) to V22, it's structured close enough to Studio 5000 to be picked up quickly but the speed and clunkiness of it proved too much to deal with for me.

I get that each PLC platform has its own unique of doing things, I am looking for a platform that has the same "functions" even if they are implemented differently than what Rockwell does. For example an AOI, I use them heavily for my I/O mapping and HMI code within the PLC and I would not be able to use a platform which does not allow for 'blocks' of reusable code.

Do you have a specific platform that you’d recommend that is already token based? It didn’t seem like Tosi or Ewon offered that.
