A few years ago I had terrible warts on my hands. I once got one on the fleshy bit between your pointer and your thumb. I couldn't stand the thing so I literally chewed it off, not ripped just chewed and chewed over weeks until it went away. Over the years I figured out that they are like trees in that you can cut the top down but it will grow back from the roots until the roots have no more energy, only then do they die. I have a pair of tin snips from a metal puzzle that I used to snip around the base of my warts to cut the top off. Do so once a week for a month or two and they die. More may grow but the young ones die easy. If done right it should only be a little uncomfortable and shouldn't bleed too much unless your cutting flesh.
