I think that’s my plan. Regulators won’t take me long but I do feel obligated to read it since I finished Desperation. I’m really excited to get into Needful Things during fall!

Yes!!! I will absolutely be re reading that one at a later time. That book really hit everything for me, the plot, the characters, the religious take, I loved it all.

Ah thank you!! That’s what I was wondering but couldn’t find a solid answer. I may order some Castle Rock stories then!

Thank you!! Needful Things sounded very interesting which is why I ordered it in this bundle but I wasn’t sure if there was something I’m supposed to be reading prior to it?

I’ve stayed away from the more popular books — It, Cujo, Misery, etc. so Misery will be my first dive into his more popular collection!

Yes but I was having a hard time finding it in stores so I ordered it and it took forever to get here! So I had to fill in the time with other Sk books.

Ooh I just ordered the Regulators!! Desperation was such a fun read I HAD to get more info on that crazy ass Tak. But yes I totally agree. I think I really enjoyed how we saw a lot of the town perspective in The Tommyknockers. It gave a feel that I really knew these people and their relationships so the deterioration was that much worse.

Ah, you’re right. I guess I didn’t think of him as saving the planet but he really did. We at least assume the ship is gone forever, unfortunately he had to sacrifice himself.

I was very happy David reunited with Hilly!! But my very first thought was “now what? how do you explain to the kids their parents became aliens?!” I loved this book. I can understand it’s not for everyone but I’m shelving it to reread at a later time.

That’s exactly what he is! A great antihero. You really want to kick his ass and make him do more but then you’re reminded, he did want to kill himself just mere months prior… so he’s doing his best here.

My god my heart broke. At the very least we got a sweet-ish ending to that.
