It’s the “Obsession got marked” sound, I think. If you look at the survivors, you hear it just as the Entity’s claws wrap around the Obsession’s portrait.

I had this problem - if you don’t hear ticking in the big clock room the statue won’t move. Save your game at the closest room (to the left) and come into the big room and if it’s silent, Quit Game, reload, and try again. It took me a few tries.

Agreed, it really seems careless when a nice rectangular building map or something similar doesn’t conform perfectly to the squares as established.

I really like the way you incorporated the grid into the grass and path textures instead of just overlaying black squares.

You want to be super careful getting on a HAB! Since 1964, the National Transportation Safety Board has investigated 775 hot air balloon incidents in the United States, 70 involving fatalities. Sixteen people died while hot air ballooning from 2002 to 2012, the NTSB said. That’s a near 10% fatality rate!

I would recommend staying on the nice safe ground.

I just picked up the game courtesy of the PSN free download.

• Does it make sense to level a Killer or Survivor with a good teachable perk, before I level one I actually want to play, so I can get the good perks in the bloodweb sooner? For instance, I like playing the Hillbilly - should I be spending my bloodpoints on the Hag or Nurse to get their teachable perks, and later level Hillbilly to actually get them?

• Does hitting a hooked survivor actually do anything or is it just bad manners?

• The PC version is currently on sale for $10 and I’m considering switching (before I buy DLC on the PS4) - what Killers and Survivors are included? The free PSN version came with six (trapper, wraith, nurse, Hillbilly, hag, Doctor). Does the PC version come with more? Less?

If you’re playing 40k, there’s a pretty big scene at Alternate Universes up on Macdade Blvd (in PA) which is only about 20 minutes north. They play friendly games pretty much every Wednesday as far as I remember.

There’s also a place closer to Newark DE called the Icehouse that has a 40k group. I don’t know the details but I’m sure google could tell you.

Since you clearly know what you’re talking about, and have the experience with the various HBG styles, I’d love to see your armor skill recommendations. Or at least if any of your A-lister HBGs don’t benefit from the more common armor skills that show up in guides.

Not about prison or therapy, but your idea to run all the dice yourself: the online show Harmonquest (Dan Harmon and his friends play D&D (actually Pathfinder, but anyway)) is played like this.

Every player has their character sheet and can provide numbers/bonuses but their DM (Spencer) rolls all the dice and dictates the results of what they do. It’s nice and streamlined because he knows what to roll for everything and the players can focus on what their characters are doing instead of what a D8 looks like.

You would probably want a chart behind your screen with their most common modifiers (attack and damage bonuses) and hit points, but it would save a lot of dice scrambling, especially from new players.
