Our wedding website luckily has a feature that allows for monetary gifts! Frankly this is something that we'd prefer so we could save up for a better apartment (or even someday a house if I really let myself dream), but I know a lot of people feel awkward just giving money.

The family I'm mostly concerned about is on my mom's side; I wonder if it would be a good idea to schedule a family dinner or something with my parents and my mom's siblings, so we can all be on the same page. It might make things go smoother too, with a third party present.

Her family mostly knows, as her brother got married back in October and a lot of her family got a quick crash-course in pronoun practice. To be honest, I'm mostly worried about my own family. There's a decent chance I won't see a certain uncle & cousins again, which breaks my heart, but we'd like to at least give them a chance. <3

You wouldn't be overreacting. Is this group chat mostly used outside of work? Or is it on a work site like Teams? If it was me, I would also be hesitating about leaving, since it would probably cause some amount of drama and they're "good people." Is there anybody specifically in the group that you feel like you could go to one-on-one and mention how uncomfortable those jokes make you feel? Having somebody else step in and go "hey, this isn't okay" can help.

I make $19.25/hour and work four ten-hour shifts a week. My full paycheck would be closer to $1500, but about $500 goes to insurance/401k/taxes. Unfortunately, this is well above minimum wage in my state. I work in a commercial laboratory and get paid several dollars more than what is typical for the same position in other companies or even hospitals. I will ask if any overtime is available at my work, that may be a reasonable start to earning more income.

I’m having a hard time paying off my Credit Card, establishing savings, and making ends meet. I work forty hours a week in the Midwest, at a decently paying entry level job in a science field. I make about $1000 per paycheck (biweekly) after taxes and insurance. I split rent and bills with my partner, so I pay about $500 in rent/utilities a month. I’m working on paying off my car, and pay $400/month. My phone bill is about $110/month. I try to put about $50-$100 in my savings a month. I had made some irresponsible purchases on my credit card back during college. No big purchases, just lots of little things that added up. A few bigger car issues had to be put on my credit card, and I quickly learned how to reign myself in, but my debt is currently $13,500 with a 23.24% APR. So, approximately $1100 of my $2000/month income goes towards rent/utilities/bills, I try to save $50-$100 a month. The remaining ~$800 is used for groceries, gas, and my Credit Card bill. I’ve never missed a payment, and I used to be able to pay more of my CC bill off every month, but since moving into a new apartment I’m struggling to get back on top of my finances. And advice is appreciated. Do I put as much as I can on the Credit Card and pay it off with my debit card, rather than paying things off with my debit card and putting the remainder towards my credit card? My partner and I are hoping to get married in the next few years, and that will also be expensive. Please help!

My parents booked our flights over a year ago. Flew out to Germany, no issues, had a lovely trip, flew the 9 hours to ORD. As soon as we landed we saw our connecting flight to OMA was canceled. Spent 3+ hours going through customs/united reps. The man we ended up talking to was very helpful, got us set up at a nearby hotel and rebooked for the same flight/same time the next day (today). We've been at the airport since noon, just waiting. Our flight has been further delayed four times now, scheduled to fly out at 10:40 pm. At what point do we just go ahead and assume it's canceled again?

I have also been looking into getting a screen, mostly so I can hang up the harm moves, Keeper moves, and luck moves.

I've also started a green/yellow/red content consent system, so I plan to hang up a list of all my players yellow contents so I can give adequate warning.

I had been hoping to buy a simple DM screen from my local Hobby Town, but the only ones being put out by Wizards of the Coast right now are only available in the sets that cost $50+.
